This goes for Bearded Dragons, Lizards and other Reptiles also... Roxby is shocking for this ๐
It is something we constantly educate customers on and fully support those who are unaware in encouraging the safe release of the animal close to where is was found only if uninjured and it is safe to do so ๐
Please know though, that once you are aware of this law, then it's your choice to keep them illegally ๐ฏ and the responsibility is then completely on you.
We will not support anything to do with this, as it risks our business, our permit and goes against our obligations/values as reptile & wildlife lovers ๐
Please do not catch & keep any wildlife! If you find one injured, then please seek professional assistance from a trained wildlife rescue organisation, such as Fauna Rescue SA ๐
๐Keeping native wildlife as pets without proper permits doesnโt just break the lawโit breaks ecosystems. These animals play vital roles in nature and belong in the wild, not cages.
๐If you suspect illegal wildlife activity, share information with Crime Stoppers SA at https://dew.crimestopperssa.com.au/
