Kenevel Jarrah T546 has made his way to Hermidale, Western NSW. We especially recommend this bull to the new owners. With his extra softness and great colour he will excel in the western country. We have heifers calving to him now, they are super easy born and all contain his terrific cosmetics.
Jarrah has gone to a black Angus breeding operation with the desire for easy calving, high growth, easy doing calves.

Some new clients at Nyngan have shifted their focus to producing easy doing breeders, and steers that will finish on grass. Naturally, they have settled on the proven performance of the black baldy!

LOT 43 at this years Dubbo National Show and Sale. Kenevel Absinthe N420. His dam Banksia E157 is undoubtedly the best cow we've bred to date. Absinthe carries the skin and hair we strive for here to ensure that extreme softness and easy doing ability. He's a mile long and has an amazing front end from the shoulders right up to a true sire's head.

We have a friendly rivalry happening at Kenevel over who picked Batman out first as a prospect. James Emma and I have all been excited about Kenevel Batman M392 since he was born. He is a sire which you don't have to worry about overlooking at Lot 11. He will make his presence felt and make sure he is seen by everyone all by himself.

There has been a misprint in the catalogue for Kenevel Spiderman M382. Selling as lot 8 at Dubbo, he is actually by Minlacowie Dynamic D105. Dynamic sired Al Capone whom we sold to the H**e family for $35,000.
Spiderman is amazingly deep, and has a true sires head. He is wrapped up in the softest best coloured skin you can imagine.

Fitting our Dubbo bulls by myself sometimes leads to late afternoon photos with long shadows.
Kenevel Phantom M395, Lot 39 this year is a bull not to be overlooked. Really long and with a great head and eye this bloke is one for the astute cattle breeder.

That time of year again!!! A late start to the preparation for our Dubbo team, unfortunately we've been a bit busy with the "big dry" to date to give these guys the attention they deserve until now.
Kenevel The Flash M378, Lot 3 at Dubbo has a great muscle pattern, really following down to that lower thigh, he is super, super soft and very easy doing, he was a late addition to the team but certainly holds his place.

Gearing up for a bigger show and sale season in 2018 means a new rig to get them around. Next job will be to scan some bulls to help make some decisions on how we will fill it. Hopefully I'll get to that next week.

An amazing few days at Dubbo National Show and Sale. Our classic car themed team performed better than we could have hoped with all three bulls winning ribbons.

Kenevel Thunderbird L370 was placed third and sold for $9000

Kenevel FJ L358 and Kenevel Maverick L362 Ist and fifth respectively in the same class.

To top it off FJ went on to senior champion.

Maverick sold for $11000 and heads to Charleville in Queensland to Lambert Pastoral Co, The Bredhaur family also purchased our top price bull last year at Dubbo and we are thrilled to see them back to add to their sire battery.

FJ, our senior champion takes up stud duties at Warren Point poll hererfords for the Lethbridge family. FJ topped our sale at $14000.

Emma, James and I would like to thank not only the purchasers but everyone who supported us at Dubbo with words of encouragement or actively bidding on our bulls.

A special thank you to Benn, and Delene for your moral support and bringing a little insanity when things seemed sane and rational.

Slowly making these guys presentable for Dubbo. I reckon we must be getting close to being ready go. Not only am I having a conversation with them as I work, but it's a pretty intelligent one!
