Resting and Renewing 🌞

Here’s a peek at some of our garden beds taking a well-deserved rest this summer! 🌸 We’ve “chopped and dropped” old plants, creating on-the-spot compost to protect the soil from the intense heat.

✨ Prepares for healthy planting in just a few months!

🌱✨ This week at Little Green Thumbs, Jasmin and the children enjoyed tying up cucumber vines, harvested beans and cucumbers, fed soggy ones to the worms, and met some tiny farm friends like beetles and caterpillars! 🐛
We also got creative making Christmas decorations with rosemary and grevillea cuttings, thanks to our amazing volunteer Lindsey 🎄💚.
And last but not least, Mary wrapped up 2024 with a lovely final storytime which was loved by all. 📖.
