All set for Mini Melbourne Cup 🏆 today at Lawnton PineWoods Aged Care! 🤩
It was great to be back here again with all the lovely staff & residents. 😇 Quite a crowd too & most enthusiastic despite the heat. 👏

The boyz🦄🦄 still managed to wow the audience, doing us proud with another stellar show... once they both dispensed with their fascinators! 🤣 Track favourite 'Benny' 🐎 was 1st out the starters gate & headed down the straight towards the well-turfed track for a yummy chow down thereafter! 😂

HUGE thanks & all credit due to our beautiful friend Leanne Bennett who so kindly went out of her way to help organise things behind the scenes, incl gents ties 👔 etc to make the day special for her resident Mum & others 🥰 ...
.. AND who generously SPONSORED this show - unbeknownst to us until later when a lttle birdly let it slip! 😄 Hats 👒 off to U Leanne for all your kindness to everyone around, always so thoughtful. 🙏 Same goes to all my Mini-All-Stars team - YOU all make this world a better place. 💝

Super chuffed to be invited back to 'Ozanam Villa Clontarf Aged Care' each year for our liberty trick show! 🦄🦄

The boyz out did themselves performing in an unfamiliar, new spot today. 😇 Aside from the inevitable distraction of yummy grasses, there were some very interesting 'scary' life-size jungle animals beside our allocated area! 😱🐅🦬

But no time to waste, so after a quick desensitisation Benny was able to focus on his very important job of entertaining the wonderful crowd. 🤹‍♂️😄

It took a little extra coaxing, but so impressed Benny still managed his liberty lie-down & sit-up on very hard fake turf - even despite the uneven, slippery, varied footing! And Spirit was a true champion as always, bringing calming joy to all. 🐴

Thanks again everyone today - staff & residents - for the wonderful feedback. It soo warms our hearts too when we see the joy our minis 🐎🐎 bring. 😍

Finally special shout out to one of our favourite residents, beautiful 'Dorothy' a horse-mad lady who we adore & who turns 100yrs very soon!! Can u guess who??! Dorothy, as promised, these extra ones are for u! 🥰

A special day today with 3 of our minis performing their tricks at St Martin's Spring Carnival! 🌻🎠🎡

These shows are a HUGE team effort production! There's all the bathing, clipping, grooming, rugging... & bathing again 😅 ... & then there's the myriad of props, music on cue, lights, camera action!! 🦄🦄🦄
And not to mention refresher training!!! 🐎😱 Always more required, obviously! 😂🤣

Residents, staff & visitors were delighted as always. 🤩 Chuffed my folks & family had front row seats too! 🥰

An extra BIG thanks to Gay Emary Mutton for giving us an essential extra hand today... What a champion! 😘

Another fantastic 'Fun Obstacles Desensitisation Clinic ' last Saturday at SEG! 🤩

So nice to see smiles all round as everyone improved, well done all. 👏
