We have been using the awesome Sound Proof Puppy Training App to desensitize Sunny to noises of the vacuum cleaner ,mower and most importantly storms at the moment . The idea is that we create a pleasant or neutral" I don't care about it" association to the machine over many sessions . It is very important if you use this that you are starting at distance over a few sessions and moving closer over time as the puppy adjusts, It's also important to have the sound on low and work up to high over many sessions ,this is the loudest we have gone to date . Make sure you also that the puppy is invested in some food foraging, frozen treat or a fun game.
Many people don't realise pups go through fear imprint stages so this app can help you work on desensitization in a appropriate way through this phase.

It's really important for true quick success with toilet training young puppies you are taking them out to the designated grass spot every 20 to 30mins I.e when they wake ,when they play, when they drink , when they explore sniff, when they eat , basically all the time.
It's also important that you take them out and make them feel comfortable to go in the rain ☔, play a game after so it's a fun experience, this will aviod them leaving a present 🎁 on the door step for the next 15 years 🤣.

So here she finally is! Introducing little Miss Sunny!
Sunny is one of Kelly's from Kobelco Labradors Dogs NSW 2000869070 ANKC Registered Beautiful little Labs and she is 8weeks old!
She is a very gentle and confident little puppy and we are looking forward to seeing how she grows.
We will be keeping you updated along the way with the good, the bad and the ugly of the puppies stages.

Little Onyx is only 18weeks old and is in the beginning stages of training for a special role hopefully in the future . What my client is starting to teach little Onyx is nothing to complex and nor should it be at this stage . The main focus is on practising building her clarity and timing precision with her markers and cues and working on trust ,bonding and confidence building . Their is so much to cover when raising a puppy and even if you don't attend puppy school or online puppy school make sure you are working towards goals , have a training journal or diary and review it , set reasonable expectations and goals for your puppy and don't get to frustrated as this is a learning stage for your puppy. We should'nt expect them to behave like the adult dog, or as the last dog , puppys make mistakes and so do we.🤪
