FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY SCONE NSW FOR IMMEDIATE START ‼️‼️‼️‼️

We’re looking for someone to join us in the full time role. We offer a very relaxed and chilled work environment on a lovely farm with lovely horses, dogs, and a toddler. You will need your own vehicle (or be able to drive a manual), and a licence to work, and be available to start in the next 14 days.

The role:
- 10 day fortnight. Every second Thursday-Sunday off. (Additional weekends off can be coordinated).
- Feeding approx. 20 horses am (7/7.30) and pm (4pm) + rugging according to the weather. Using an automatic buggy.
- Making feeds and stacking the buggy
- Filling feed bins
- Washing loads in machine and hung out.
- General horse handling shifting paddocks, bringing in and holding for farrier and vet etc.
- administering medications
- light gardening
- deep cleaning feed rooms / tack rooms regularly
- sole time management of jobs throughout the days / weeks
- handling young horses from foals to yearlings, including colts
- Ad hoc jobs such as poo picking, cleaning waters, spraying weeds etc
- All horses are individually paddocked with all their rugs stored at their gates in wheeliebins.
- Very systematic organised farm with everything labelled.

- 99% sole charge work
- bring your own horse and ride every day

The pay:
- miscellaneous award salary package including accomodation that’s fully set up, diesel, utilities, wifi, Netflix, Stan, paramount, Disney plus, agistment of your own horse, farrier, dentist, massage and physio covered through salary package, wages paid every fortnight.
- Fortnightly wages based on if you bring your own horse or not, super paid on top.

Successful applicant must haves:
- 110% confident handling young to old horses, performance horses, breeding mares and colts,
MUST HAVE SIGNIFICANT EQUINE HANDLING EXPERIENCE
- Ability to drive a buggy (auto),
- Sharp attention to detail and ability to know each horse and their characteristics.
- MUST be reliable and have a work place reference 😊

BONUS - if you have child care / nanny experience. We have a 16mo toddler and there could be cash hours for someone who clicked with our toddler 🥰

The property:
-The paddocks are all rested regularly so have plenty of grass in them in this dryer time
- Automatic waterers cleaned weekly,
- gate/fence feeders,
- fenced with only the best Duncan Equine Stallion Rail that’s fully electric
- Paddocks are shaded either with trees or shade cloths
- Full agistment includes all your horses feed and hay twice daily, rugging and unrugging based on the weather,
- facilities include;
- 60x30 arena,
- round yard,
- grass riding area,
- show jumps
- 2km private lane hacking
- powered and well lit tack storage,
- powered and well lit concrete cross ties and hot and cold water wash bay,
- Fridge/freezer,
- washing machine,
- float parking,
- wheelie bin at horses gate for their rugs and bits and bobs to be stored in,
- and we can organise the farrier / vet / chiro if required for your horse.

We had the cutest little pony in for a full pamper session 💇🏼💆🏼‍♀️. He received a thorough pre wash with grime targeting shampoo, a full clip, then a body, mane and tail hydrating and conditioning post clip bath, finished with a hot oil treatment. Look at that post clip shine! We bet he feels like the fancy pony he is now.

Hesitant about full care agistment?
Here at Hillview when we say full care we mean it. That means we rug according to the weather, this morning it was absolutely bucketing it down with rain (hallelujah for this growing paddock pictured below!), with predicted showers on the ever **trusty** weather app, it’s hard to know if you should unrug and head to work and hope it’s a sunny day, or leave rugs on and hope it’s a wet day. We take the worry away for you, we unrug while the weather is good and as soon as it’s about to rain or the weather changes we re rug. Meaning your horse is at optimal comfort 24/7.
Even the broodmares get this care, no set and forget leaving winter rugs on for the entirety of winter like some of the studs do.

The horses here live a luxury life 😎😍🤩

Recently we sent two mares we had in for reconditioning off to new homes.
One was the very dear Molly (second image with the star) on her arrival and departure day. And the second was Cal, first image with the head in the feeder.
Cal was here just 60 days, that’s all it took for such a drastic turn around.
Molly had to undergo several surgeries and treatments and have her foal weaned when ready, so she was her approximately 7 months.

What a difference in both horses! None of this would have been achieved without the following;

On behalf of a client we offer Jack for FREE LEASE ON FARM (HILLVIEW EQUINE SCONE) for 12 months possibly longer if the fit is right.

Jack is searching for his next keen rider while his rider recovers from a non Jack related injury.

About Jack – Jack is a very sweet natured horse. He is a pleasure to do anything with, he loads and unloads perfectly, he travels well, he stands for hours and hours tied up with not even a tail swish, he can be moved around farm to keep other horses company and does not care, he can be led off any vehicle, he is good to clip, shoe, bath, rug, tack up. The easiest horse in the world to do anything with, just a pleasurable pleasant chap. Jack has spent a lot of time with people with disability so he is very soft and kind on the ground.

Jack is no stranger to the show ring either, with many eventing, jumping, and showing outings, often bringing home a ribbon or several. He’s as good out and about as he is at home.

Jack has been in light work for the past 6 months and has regularly received physio and PEMF. He is up to date with teeth, vaccines, worming, and has had faecal egg counts done all returning 0. Jack is fully shod all round by an excellent farrier every 5 weeks.
Jack is a get on and go kind of horse and doesn’t need to be ridden every day, 4 days a week would be plenty for he. He’d make a fantastic pony club horse as well.

Jack gets fat off air, even looking at green grass puts the porkyness on this boy.

Jack is currently in excellent condition and has his winter woollies on but can be clipped.

Jack comes with all his bridles, rugs, boots, saddle cloths, and his two saddles. A bates jump saddle, and a BRAND NEW ERRPLUS CUSTOM MADE SPECIFICALLY FOR JACK DRESSAGE SADDLE. Jacks wardrobe and gear is extensive!

Jack enjoys work and is very very honest, he is forgiving and if you get the wrong distance he just keeps on going. Jack is careful and enjoys jumping but not on hard ground. He had an extensive racing career and we think that while he’s tough as nails and incredibly sound, he feels the hard ground (don’t we all). Jack has been on 4cyte for a long time and this would be included in the nitty gritty.

Jack would suit someone who wants to ride and enjoy a very cool dude, the bestest boy, and get out and about to some training and comp days. Beginner, amateur or keen experienced rider would enjoy Jack.

The nitty gritty:
Jacks agistment which includes his fee, hay, and 4cyte, and is full
Care agistment. Plus farrier, dental, any rider chosen expenses and minor vet bills must be covered by the lessee.

UPDATE - perfect long term home found 🥰🥰🥰

About 8 months ago we had a very poorly TB mare “Molly” come to us on the brink of death with a 2-week foal at foot. Molly and her foal underwent extensive care and treatment and now we can report both her and her weaned foal are doing incredibly well. They are a picture of health inside and out and have vet reports to reflect the same.

We have a home for her weanling, but now the time has come to find Molly a home. On behalf of our client we will hopefully find her the perfect home.
Molly has many years left in her and would make an EXCEPTIONAL nanny mare. She is super quiet and very obliging. She is not a cranky mare in any way, she is an absolute angel and even after months of treatments she never got sour. She is a fantastic Mum and loves being in with weanlings. She would also make a terrific nanny/ foster mare, even when Molly was on death’s door she was producing huge amounts of milk and her foal grew up to be a powerhouse.
Molly is up to date with tetanus and strangles, worming, dentist, and farrier. Molly is in great condition and is ready to find a caring home.
We offer Molly free to an excellent home, but as we have a soft spot for her after rescuing her and do not want to see her end up in the same neglected condition we will only let her go somewhere we believe will look after her.

It’s clipping time ✂️✂️ if your hairy mammoth needs a bit of a shave to be a naked mammoth get in touch!
We can do full clips, blanket clips, half clips, 3/4 clips, heads on / half heads, trace clips, saddle pads on. And while we’re at it we can pull manes and tidy tails if needed!
We do this in two ways;
1. You deliver us a very clean, washed and dried horse ready to clip, we clip and then you post wash said horse.
2. Your pony gets a true Hillview spa day, where you deliver us a muddy hairy yak, and we will spring clean, de yak, and then finish with a beautiful hot oil treatment to really pamper and hydrate that post clip coat. 😍

- Feed run takes 45-90 mins pending weather/rugging requirements.
- All horses are individually paddocked with all their rugs stored at their gates in wheeliebins.
- Very systematic organised farm with everything labelled.
- Great people to work with and for
- 99% sole charge work
- Quiet, well-handled horses
- Ability to work more or less hours depending on your ability with flexible start times and days.

The pay:
- Award rates paid under the Miscellaneous Award [MA000104]

- Tax exempt bonus scheme once trial period is complete: woolworths/big W/BWS/ Ampol giftcards ranging in value from $200 upwards
- Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday award rate loadings
- Tax withheld and super paid on top
- Paid fortnightly with timesheets submitted through Xero and payslips through Xero

Option to bring your own horse:
- All of the pay as outlined above, but bring your own horse and have all your horses feed, hay, farrier, physio, rugs, worming, dentist and agistment costs as a pre-tax deduction from wages. (Able to see this in your payslip).
- Ability to ride before/after feed runs
- Any hours worked above the value of agistment is paid as per above.
- 1 horse on full agistment would be the equivalent to approx. 1 day a week work.

We are so pleased this mare has made a full recovery from her illness and her horrible condition. It’s hard to believe how quickly horses gain regain their health and conditioning!

Some of our client weanlings here at Hillview, in only the very best Duncan Equine Group Stallion Rail and Shock Coat fencing. Lovely big 15acre paddock for them to enjoy, full of excellent pasture. Fed on Pryde's EasiFeed. They all look a picture of health and condition. Trimmed 5 weekly to make sure they have excellent feet and handling as they grow.

Trigger warning - horse welfare

This lovely Darley bred thoroughbred came to us for some much needed TLC. He has the sweetest nature and has become a Hillview favourite. As you can see in the images and the video, it is truly hard to picture him now in his previous state. In just 8 weeks he was a different horse all together, and now at 12 weeks his hoof growth is massive and we also have had to put him on a diet 🙈🐷

When he arrived he was scoped for ulcers and cleared of any ulcers, had a faecal egg count done and was clear, had his feet and teeth done, vaccinations done. He has regular baths with EquaCare shampoo, and is fed only the best Pryde's EasiFeed and Nourish Equine Nutrition. He also had (pre diet 🐽🙊) access to top
Quality lucerne hay and pasture 24/7. He is also protected with 4CYTE.

Now back in work and absolutely loving his life.

We are so glad we were able to give this boy the turnaround he deserved.

Another transformation for a OTT brought to us. This transformation has happened in 8 weeks. Such a short time and such an enormous difference, if you didn’t know it was the same horse you wouldn’t believe it! Taz is one of our favourites here, because as you can see he’s pretty and can jump!!
