First outing for 2026 ✅

Our wonderful client entrusted me with her lovely “Harry Potter” formerly “Malkovich” a very successful TB who won over $1 Mil on the track 🤑. It was his first ever non racing outing and he handled it like a pro.

Another client pupil stepped outside her comfort zone and came home with a ribbon. Angela and her little Letty have been working their butts off so it’s lovely to see them succeed.

And my own Just Schillin, aka Taz, aka Devil child. Has started 2026 by needing some kind of exorcism. Clearly his support team and have him feeling so incredible that he’s now some kind of flying acrobatic llama 🦙? Normally the goodest boy, but since his holiday has been really testing my stickability and appetite for eating sand…. He has way too much fun and just throws some extra moves in. However today he did a PB in the novice first test, coming 2nd by 1% out of 20 horses. Beating several lovely warm bloods! And then the devil took over for the second test and stick ability was required, he had me and the judge in cackles.

Looking forward to our next outing!

I enjoy coaching all ages, disciplines, and demographics. I strive to leave the arena with my pupil feeling more confident and purposeful about their riding and their joint development with their horse. Having ridden for Australian Olympians Matt Ryan and Christopher Burton (Eventing) in the UK, Tara Schneider in Germany (Dressage), and travelled Europe with legendary Andrew Hoy and his horses, producing multiple horses for myself and clients, and now returning from focusing on being a mum, I have systematic approaches with secure grounding principles.

Our 60m x 40m .services.au Ebb and Flow flex fibre arena is the perfect spot. All weather riding at its best. Possibly the best surface we have available in Australia.

It can be set up with a full course of competition show jumps or with competition dressage boards and letters for a 60 x 20 dressage arena. We’re only minutes from scone with easy for both trucks and floats.

Available for private hire, or to any of our resident Agistees have 24/7 access, also available for lessons.

Looking for an extra person to help on our farm, routine stuff feed runs, odd jobs. Flexible on days but times are specific to feed run times. Approx 40-50 horses. 3hrs work minimum each day and min 3 days a week. PM if interested.
MUST BE EXPERIENCED WITH HORSES.
Must be able to drive and have a licence
Must have excellent attention to detail and knowledge of equine injuries etc.

Agistment and lessons can be discussed for the right applicant.
Paid on or off books.

Just Schillin (Taz) having a posh trot to finish 3rd in the Nov2.3 on 66%. He’s a horse that tries his heart out and was very excited to be out today. Our final comp for the year is next weekend, hopefully we can contain some excitement and get some more experience in the Novice tests. Straight dressage tests sure are different to eventing ones!

For most studs and farms the season is over, but we are still going. 2nd last born tonight, thrilled for our clients getting a STUNNING black filly out of dressage superstar JW Darjeeling and by the very exciting stallion TOTALITY (Totilas/Regardez Moi).

With breeding like this, this filly is sure to shine! Can’t wait to watch her unscrunch 🥰🫶🏼🦄

Even though it’s the end of the year, life at Hillview is still very busy. We have weekly Dressage lessons here with coaches Hillview owner Vic Farr and gwandalanstables Robyne Smith. With competition spec white dressage boards and letters the horses are worked in a true 60x20m for test riding accuracy and exposure to the “scary white boards!”.
Then we flip the arena and have jumping with coaches Vic Farr, and the clinic this weekend with Tara Sheridan from Views Equestrian, as well as having international show jumping lessons via PIVO.

We also still have mares foaling down, and repro work still underway.

Our horses receive the very best care from our farrier, vets, bodyworkers, PEMF, chiro, through to icing properly after working.

So if you’re not quite ready for the year of riding or breeding to finish then get in touch!

To add to that, we will be taking horses for Christmas holidays spelling or boot camps. Limited places are available so get in touch! As they say “it’s the hillview effect….” Don’t miss out 🥳😝🫶🏼
