Richard Gibson in Chantilly France, Foreman and rider for Michael Halford on the prestigious Curragh in Ireland, Foreman for Paul Messara at the Arrowfield Training complex and travelling foreman for Gary and John Moore looking after and riding champion horses such as Takedown, Notlistenintome and Dan excel are just a few of the many stakes winning horses Lou has had the opportunity to ride and look after. Lou has a very hands on approach and likes to be involved in every aspect of training from riding trackwork to feeding and everything in between, He also has a great attention to detail and thoroughly enjoys understanding his horses and taking care of all daily treatments himself.
