Tarinpa Renaming Ceremony Thursday 18th of April 2024.

Tarinpa (formerly Hunter Beach), Muswellbrook NSW.
The name Tarinpa was chosen to represent and raise awareness of the endangered Red River Gum trees on the Hunter River, to respect its cultural importance to Indigenous people, and to further increase the ecological diversity of the Upper Hunter Region.

Wanaruha people, dignitaries, and the local community were all present to unveil the new sign.
