I will be taking a break from this page for a while due to Rosie passing away suddenly today.

I’m going to be working out a plan in the next week or two as to what happens next.

Rosie’s 1st and 2nd chicks have hatched.

I took these photos of Rosie’s 2 chicks. They are so cute ☺️☺️

I will have 1 chick available once they are weaned. The chick that will be available will come with a dna certificate

This is one of Rosie’s 2 remaining chicks. They are both now over 3 weeks old. This chick loves to walk over to my lap to cuddle into my lap when I give them some time to free roam.

Rosie laid her 3rd egg today. Her first two eggs that she laid are starting to develop

Rosie has started laying another clutch of eggs. Her mate stays outside the nest box most of the time when she is in there. Sometimes he goes in the nest box with her.

Sadly Rosies eldest chick passed away suddenly overnight.

He/she had just turned 3 weeks old on Thursday. I don’t know what caused it to pass away so suddenly.

Rosie’s 2 other chicks are doing really good so far. The second eldest chick turned 3 weeks old yesterday.

Rosie’s 3 chicks are now on 4 feeds a day and taking more formula.

All 3 chicks are doing great and developing really well.

The eldest chick is on the left, the chick in the middle is the second eldest chick and the chick on the right is the youngest chick.

Rosie’s 3 chicks are doing really good.

Her eldest chick in the first 5 pictures. He/she is very photogenic. It will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. When I took these photos the eldest chick walked up to my hand climbed onto my hand and fell asleep.

Her second eldest chick will be 2 weeks old on Friday. He/she kept trying to chase me hand while taking photos of it.

Her youngest chick will be 2 weeks old on Sunday. He/she was the most calm while I was taking photos.

These three chicks will come with dna certificates when they go to their new homes.

Rosie’s three chicks are doing very well.

The last two photos are of the oldest chick and the second chick. The youngest chick was very sleepy so I couldn’t take a photo of it on its own.

Sadly the last 2 chicks which were the runts in the clutch didn’t make it

Rosie’s 3 older chicks.

The chick in the first picture is 1 week old today.

The chick in the second photo is 6 days old today.

The chick in the third photo is 4 days old today.

I did have abother chick that should’ve been 2 days old today but sadly it passed away yesterday because it was the runt of the clutch.

I also have another chick that hatched this morning which is also a runt but I don’t have photos of it yet as I’m it sure if it will survive

I’ve taken Rosie’s chicks in for hand rearing after noticing that her chick that hatched this morning is a runt. It’s eating only 0.10ml of formula at the moment.

Rosie’s 3 chicks are developing really well.

Rosie’s eldest chick is now 4- 5 days old.

Rosie’s 2nd chick is 3 days old.

Rosie’s 3rd chick is 1 day old.

I’m expecting Rosie’s 4th egg to hatch either later tonight or tomorrow.

Here is a photo of the 3rd chick that hatched early this morning.

I couldn’t get a photo of it in the nest box due to the other 2 chicks blocking it

Rosie’s third chick has hatched.

All 3 chicks are doing very well. The 4th egg is still yet to hatch. The 5th egg loos like the chick hasn’t continued developing in the egg.

Rosie and her mate have had their second chick hatch during the day yesterday.

Both chicks look to be very healthy and doing great

Rosie and her mate had their first chick hatch this morning.

Rosie and her mate are taking very good care of it.

I will be hand rearing this clutch and I will also be including dna certificates for when they go to their new homes.
