The team at The Dog Mobility Clinic are doing incredible work in veterinary rehabilitation, mobility support, and regenerative medicine for our four-legged friends.

We’ve been working alongside Ashlee and Dr Malcolm Ware .k9.rehab about 9 years, and it’s always a pleasure to collaborate with rehabilitation and bracing solutions that make a real difference in canine recovery and quality of life.

The AOPA annual conference was great to attend celebrating all things P&O for 50 years, learning and connecting.

I am surprised to have won the ‘Most Popular Free Paper Presentation’ at the conference. It was great to share the journey of Animal Tech and some cases I’ve been able to assist.

Hope is melting hearts wherever she goes!
She’s cute, she’s clever and now she’s rocking bilateral prostheses!

Hope had a rough start to life but thanks to .vic she’s now thriving. Nothing is holding her back now! She will just need a forever loving home when she is ready.

Golden Oldies 💕

Conservative management for cruciate injuries can be a great option for a senior dog.
To provide external stability to the stifle joint for walking and activity.

For Millie, surgery is not an option so we are providing her with a custom stifle brace and she is also doing physiotherapy with

A custom brace is required as Millie‘s leg has a few abnormal lumps and bumps that were accommodated within her brace. No off the shelf brace will provide enough external stability to the joint to control tibial thrust. These braces are designed to reduce tibial thrust and fit each unique limb shape.

Applications of a Prosthesis 🦿

A prosthesis can be used for a partial limb amputation. Amputation may be required for

⚪️ Severe trauma

⚪️ Cancer tumour

⚪️ Surgical complications

⚪️ Nerve damage

⚪️ Infections and wounds

⚪️ Congenital deformities

If the limb is partially amputated- meaning that there is still a decent amount of ‘stump’ or limb left we can consider the provision of a prosthesis.

If your pet is having a full limb amputation, please check to see if a partial limb amputation is possible with your vet. Often this not well known in the industry as an option. We are always happy to discuss with your vet to see if this is a viable option.

Time flys when you’re having fun! Cant believe it’s been 9 years since I had the opportunity to work with Bubbles the goat.

Our first bracing client… The start of Animal Tech

The conversation started with my horse’s Farrier about his pet goat with an unstable front leg. We blended both of our professional knowledge to see if we could stabilise it externally with a brace.
The brace worked extremely well and fitted like a glove! There was a lot of learning with treads wearing out, straps wearing and pressure management.
The use of materials, componentry and designs have changed a lot over the years since working with Bubbles.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with Bubbles which kick started Animal Tech and now have helped so many animals with their mobility!
