Dun Me Up Fancy (Frances Lombo x Four Starzz Shark) picks up her first vic win at Echuca tonight.

Francy's was the second half of a training double for the Ellen Bartley and Blake Jones team with Island Bohemia taking out the previous race for Bruce and Denise Morrison of Island Lodge Farm

Island Lodge Farm were in the money earlier in the night also with Island Feenix running second for the Peter Walsh Stables

Dun Me Up Francy, Island Bohemia and Island Feenix are all Dunroamin Standardbreds graduates - having completed their breaking in and early education preparations in our stables.

Huge thanks to Ellen and Blake for the tremendous care they take of the horses.

Lot 389: Prettypretty Woman yearling filly

- in preparation for the Nutrien Equine - Standardbred Sales in Melbourne at Oakland's Junction, first weekend in April.

Only a few weeks to go; easy filly with a nice page that won't break the budget.

As always, on farm inspections are welcome. Our draft of 13 will land at the Inglis complex on Thursday ahead of the sale and will be available to view on the Friday and Saturday.

Sweet Lou c**t, first C**T foal from Topsies Delight.

Topsies first foal is a Captain Crunch filly, lot 465 in the Melbourne Nutrien Equine - Standardbred yearling sale.
Topsies filly will sell alongside progeny from both her dam (Trebla Trebla - lot 467, Betting Line filly) and sister (Bettor Downunder - lot 539, Captain treacherous filly)

This filly arrived on farm yesterday off the boat from Tassie with Tas. Horse Transport, ready to begin her preparation for the Melbourne Nutrien Equine - Standardbred yearling sales.

Carefully raised by Maxfield Standardbreds Tasmania. Lovely to receive young ones well handled and in such good order.

Thank you to everyone checking in - we are safe from flooding. Wet underfoot and muddy but all ok.

Our mares are continuing to make good choices; another mumma holding on through the night rain for the warm morning sunshine before releasing her bubba into the world!

Nightshade suffered a nasty laceration to her hind cannon in the stormy weather 2 weeks prior to foaling. We are fortunate to have expert veterinary care almost at our doorstop; thanks to the team at Goulburn Valley Equine Hospital she was safely stitched up and returned home without undue stress to either mare or unborn foal.

We like our babies to be confident in all situation - exposure to gaint dogs is part of the training process 🤣🤣 This little filly was entered in the nutrien winter woolies sale - she is currently still ours but is still on the market. A 2nd foal, the first foal is Cocora who trialled at Shepp last Thursday for David Miles. Trialled well and shouldnt be too far off a race start. By Bling It On, she is a nicely put together filly, friendly with a bit of spunk - just the way a girl should be!
