Cricket is a stb mare with us for some further education under saddle.

Upon her arrival her owner highlighted a few training gaps she had idenitfied- one being confidence around objects (the flag/bag) and general desentization.

Every session has started on the ground - slowly building desentization exercises not to overwhelm or flood Cricket.

It is always the most rewarding when an owner comes to have thier first ride on a horse they have breed.

Sassy (Sire Deniro out of a Royal Hit / jive magic mare) has been with us to be started under saddle with a focus on being confident and relaxed.

🐎 Further education of horses under saddle - Chepi (3yr old paint filly)

Chepi is with us for some further education under saddle with her owner identifying some exciting training gaps. One focus has been finding a better forward/rhythm well maintaining a relaxed demeanour.
Chepi would become sticky and resistive off the leg and show some brace particularly to the off side.

Chepi is displaying a very trainable nature - improving every session.

🐴 Return to work undersaddle - Diana (2022 filly) Gypsy Cob Cross.

Diana was started under saddle with us amd has had a spell to process her initial learnings. She has returned to ridden life well - happily working on the ground and in the arena.

⭐️ A lovely life after racing article featuring a client of Hilltop Horsemanship Richelle. ⭐️

Richelle purchased Serri from us after we re-trained her on behalf of Alford Racing. Serri ans Richelle are proudly flying the stb flag out and about.

It was a great team effort for Imperial Whiz to find such a special home with the help of HSP Advanced Equine.

THOUGH not told often enough, from time-to-time we do hear stories about horses enjoying life after racing. Some find their way into the dressage arena, others in show competitions and even carriag…

We have had a wonderful start to the campdraft season taking our team of horses to 4 drafts before heading out for a short break.

Each horse has shown development and consistency in their runs - a goal we have had preparing for this season.

⭐️ It is so rewarding knowing horses and their owners are getting such wonderful results from PEMF Pulse Treatments. ⭐️

Rosie having another Pulse therapy session this this afternoon, after the last treatment Rosie was bucking and playing in the paddock the next day, she had never done that before.
Such obvious results. Thanks Ben Jones for dropping by and giving her a well earned session after the Clinic on the weekend.

🐎 Starting horses under saddle - Tilly (4yr old mare Paint Bred)

Tilly is with us for her second block of education starting under saddle. She has returned more mature and has taken to her next stage of education well. A focus remains on confidence and control - setting her up to continue ridden life.

🐎 Starting horses under saddle - Registered stockhorse gelding born 2022 - Bryrose Gentleman Jack.

Jack returned for a short period to be brought into work after a spell to process his intial learnings during the starting process. He returned relaxed, engaged and didn't forget any of his initial training - a true testament to his breeding and intelligence.
