🚨 Attention Dog Owners: Watch Out for Grass Seeds! 🚨

🐾Meet Annie. Annie came in last week due to coughing.
After a scope it was discovered Annie had a grass seed lodged in her tonsils🐾

We’re seeing more cases of grass seeds causing issues for dogs, especially around this time of year. These tiny, pointed seeds can get lodged in your dog’s throat, nose, ears, and paws – and they can be tricky to spot and remove.

Here’s what to watch for:
✅ Frequent coughing or gagging
✅ Pawing at their mouth or head
✅ Drooling more than usual
✅ Acting uncomfortable or restless

If you suspect your dog has a grass seed lodged in their throat, it’s best not to attempt removal yourself – it can be dangerous! Bring them in so we can safely assess and help your furry friend get back to feeling their best.

Keep your pups safe and be vigilant about checking them after outdoor play.
