Very excited for the upcoming Kidding season, to continue on with the promising lines I have been working on.

Expressions of interest are welcomed for Kids due in the spring. Some Does and Bucks may also be available.

Thankyou to Caity my right hand gal, Coorie Creek Miniature Goat Stud for helping with photos and organising the show, also Tracey, Murray and Sandy, it was a lovely, relaxed day enjoying our goats in good company.

Last week Lylah took her baby Elsa to kinder for show and tell, she was so proud to show off her favourite baby goatie to all of her friends. Elsa was of course all for the extra attention.

Successful day for team Tahdah at the Camperdown Show.

~ Silverfern TJ Perenara - Champion Adult Buck also showing his incredible temperament by helping Caity win her junior handler's class.

~ Benclue Granite - Reserve Junior Doe

~Tahdah Dipsy - Champion Kid Buck, Also followed Lylah around all day and won a medal in her handler class too.

~ Benclue Gravedigger - Second place Junior Buck

~ Tahdah Magpie - Second place in hindquarters class

What an emotional roller coaster of a weekend.
On Friday night Jezzabell started what looked like early labour but after a sleepless night she had made no progress so our vets came for a visit. By Saturday night she was in full labour and pushing but still hadn’t dilated enough and we needed the vets help again. Unfortunately the baby was stillborn and wasn’t in the correct position so took some getting out. Poor Jezzabell was heartbroken, she was constantly talking to her baby and truely moping about.

Fast forward to yesterday, my Niece’s doe gave birth to two kids and she didn’t seem to mother the smaller of the two so we took a chance and introduced him to Jezzabell.

The rest is history 🥰
Jezzabell is so in love with her “new” baby and this little guy has a new mummy.

Our hearts are all healed. 🥰

Lylah, my niece Caity and I took a small team to Horsham last weekend and came away with a few positive results.
The highlight was Caity and Lylah leading in the handlers class, Caity winning her first time leading and Lylah having a ball with her little baby Dipsy.
Dipsy also took out reserve champion under 6 months Buck.

I am very impatiently waiting for Jezzabell to kid as this will be her first here with me, she was also my very first registered Australian Miniature goat.
This blue eyed beauty is the most curious and gentle girl, who loves chin and head scratches. That is unless you are another goat, then she is the ruler of all and must be respected 😅

My special little Koollomon Lily of the valley, has finally had her slightly overdue baby today. A gorgeous little girl by Silverfern TJ Perenara.

Cheeky old Kyeesha loves to keep me on my toes, yesterday morning she went into labour after not showing any signs the night before. When I checked on her she had birthed the boy without any dramas but the little girl was in trouble! She presented with one front leg and her head and other leg was turned back and I couldn’t for the life of me correct it. Thankfully our trusty vet dragged himself out of bed and came to our rescue. Although she was weak and still learning how to use her legs, she has become a house goat as Kyeesha was in a bit of shock and not interested in mothering her, however she is thriving so far. Neither of us expected her to be alive after her ordeal. This is Kyeesha’s last kidding and she has truly outdone herself, she held to AI first go, gave me an exact replica of herself and a fancy coloured boy and is loving being a doting mum again for the last time.
Happy Retirement old girl.
