I got a new camera so took some time to practice with it on my favourite subjects 🥰

Dam and Daughter 🩷

Tahdah Magpie - Magpie will be 1 in August and has done alot of filling out lately, I can’t wait to get her out to a few more shows.

I have got my fingers crossed that Kyeesha is in kid again this year one more time before she enters retirement.

Yesterday we had some of the beautiful residents of Sunnyside come visit us again. They were a barrel of laughs leaving me feeling like they came to entertain me rather than a day out for them. Smiles all round and happy animals who lapped up all of the extra attention 🥰

Our first Portland Doe Show 👏
We took a small team of three but came home with four 🙊🫣
Although we had no real notable results this time it was a wonderful learning experience listening to the judges comments and just getting in the ring. It was a good weekend of taking all things goats with other likeminded people.

My first home bred heifer to enter the ring at IDW carrying my stud name TAHDAH DoJo did me very proud bringing home second place in the largest class of the day, only to the junior champion heifer, this included getting pulled out into the champion line up.

We are Waiting (not so) patiently to see what Jezzabell possibly has hidden away for us in a couple of months. She spent some time with her buddy Silverfern TJ Perenara while the other girls were in the maternity paddock so we are hoping 🤞🏻

Tahdah DoJo - Reserve Champion Calf at Noorat show and Honourable Mention other breeds.

Let me start by saying HOLY MOLY, Rundle Kids, I’m so proud to be your auntie, without giving it a second thought Tilda handed over her heifer to Caity when hers couldn’t go to the show that she had put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into. And took on Dojo who we caught 2 days before the show 😅 leading her to the results above. Caity took on a more challenging calf and did exceptionally well in her handler classes in her first and second ever show! That took some guts! Jake, the calves looked fantastic! You prepped them so well.
I’m so proud to see team Boggabilla doing what they love again and so well, putting up with mine and juddys (hopefully constructive) criticism but mostly doing what you do best and that’s supporting the ones you love doing the things they love.

I spent the afternoon today giving Coorie Creek Just Juliette some love brushing out all of her yucky under coat in preparation for our first show next weekend.
All the cuddles, treats and bribes were necessary to get the job done 🤣
I don’t have favourites but if I did it would be Juliette 😂
