Some growing bellies here at Kirrasumm Kidz with only 4 weeks until our first kids start to arrive.

We have both Australian Miniatures and Full Blood 100% Nigerian Dwarfs due over the next couple months.
We will have a small selection of animals available come Spring this year - Including adult stud animals (bucks and does) and kids, both show/breeding quality and pets looking for new homes. If you are after anything in particular, please feel free to touch base with us at anytime and we will be able to let you know when animals become available!

AGB Inc. “Goat Of The Year”

We were super excited to receive the news this past weekend that one of our herd favourites, AUST CH. Kirrasumm Kidz Look Again Honey had been awarded ”Goat Of The Year” from AGB at the inaugural Annual Show Awards presentation.
Honey has won either Best In Show or Best of Breed at every show expect for the last double header show where she was awarded Runner Up Best of Breed to her son; Kirrasumm Kidz Hokey Pokey

We were very excited to receive the following awards from our 2023/2024 AGB show season and thank the club for the recognition of these awards and congratulate all other exhibitors for a very successful show season!

Corelli has been a very influential sire in our herd, producing many quality kids for us to continue our breeding program with.
He is a very gentle buck with a great personality. He is very correct, super long, level topline with great angulation and width throughout. He was shown once to be awarded “Runner Up Best Exhibit In Show” against does in milk, including other breeds.
We have now retained many daughters and a son (who has enough show points to qualify as an Australian Champion) so unfortunately the time has come for this fabulous buck to move onto another stud to work his magic.

🏵 All Breeds Show - Deloraine 🏵

Our first 2024 show was held yesterday at the Deloraine Showgrounds!
An amazing day had by all, even though it was hot and tiring.
Thank you to our amazing judge Murray Grills from Victoria for making the trip over with the lovely Sandy in tow! Wonderful to catch up with you both again 💕 Your expertise are highly valued as always!

We had another successful show and were honoured to be awarded the ”Peter McQueen Perpetual Trophy” for Best Exhibit In Show with our special Australian Miniature doe, AUST CH. Kirrasumm Kidz Look Again Honey.
A very special moment to be the first to receive this award after losing this wonderful soul last year - Made even more memorable that Peter’s lovely wife Jeane was able to present the trophy herself in person 🥰
Peter was a huge part of Miniature Goats in Tasmania, always going above and beyond to promote the breeds and show off these animals to one and all! He was an amazing man and is dearly missed by all - Hope we are doing you proud Peter 🕊🫶 You will never be forgotten!

Other highlights of the day were receiving Runner Up Best Of Breed Australian Miniature with our young buck Kirrasumm Kidz Beau-Zam and Runner Up Best Of Breed Nigerian Dwarf with Kirrasumm Kidz Kahlua ND100.

Congratulations to all other exhibitors on a great first show for 2024 - I think everyone walked away with a ribbon which is even better! Well done 🏆
