This beautiful lady, Maya, is practicing being calm, confident, and comfortable in public spaces. We’re working in her comfort zone, and slowly building up her environment, to ensure she is enjoying everything in the world around her. 💛🫰🏼
Gus is such a handsome young man! We’ve been busy going on adventures, practicing reliable recall, developing (and succeeding) skills in loose lead walking, all while still engaging with the environment around us. Gus is making huge progress, with a gentle and calm approach, and using lots of positive reinforcement! 💛

Today beautiful Nell the standard poodle and I progressed her Drop/down training to adding in more duration, distance and distractions before being released. I started behaving differently; doing things such as dropping the lead, turning my back, walking away, jumping, crouching down etc. Doing these things helps us to build a strong behaviour that isn’t reliant on being in a specific place at a specific time. She is a champion! ❤️ #standardpoodle #poodlesofinstagram #drop #walkandtrain #hobartdogtrainer
