The apple didn’t fall far from the tree. This is Jackson a gelding purebred sired by SD Rolls Royce while he was still in the UK. I have followed this boy since he was weaned before I even knew who his sire was. Such a good boy.

I always have people comment on my sold posts “geez that was quick” or “wow, can’t believe they sold already”. Often it wasn’t quick in reality. Yes it may only be an hour, sometimes minutes even from when posted but it’s actually not quick if you look at the real process. 99% of people that buy my foals have already contacted me for a previous foal and missed out or have been looking around for ages for “the one”. I even have people that have missed out and request a certain pairing and literally have paid a deposit before I’ve even served the mare like one this year. I spend time with these people on the phone, via sms and pm, often for many hours over a period of time. I already know what they want, what their horses are already like etc etc. It’s by no means first in first served. So when I’m about to advertise one I often have a few people I let know that it suits before I put the advert up. They look at the ad now know the price and any other details they need and they ring me. It’s easy as I already know they are a suitable home. The main reason for this post is to let you know my process and if you have been thinking about one of my foals then I suggest you touch base at sometime during the year because if it’s between a home I’ve already “vetted” and a person I don’t know we’ll it’s pretty obvious which one gets in first. If you want a particular pairing that I have not done as that mare isn’t being used I require a deposit up front, if it’s a mare that is already going in foal I will contact you when it’s for sale. The reason I don’t take deposits if already in foal is because I often have people already interested and as people circumstance change it just easier to let them know when it’s for sale and if they are still interested after seeing the advert they can contact me. Last foal of the season arrived 29/12/21 at 4-15am. Beautiful Drum c**t by Featherdale Over the Moon (Drum) out of Featherdale Kats Legacy (Drum). First Featherdale to Featherdale cross for Trisha. I was just the midwife for this mare and the stallion is one of our resident stallions but is owned by Trisha. She has a cracking c**t and I'm so so happy for her. PM me if you want any info. Photos are at 1 day old and 2 days old. Halter on for his vet check which he was so good for.

Well he has arrived. I can’t thank his owner Fiona Taylor enough for lending me this beautiful stallion SS Thunderstruck. He is settling in beautifully already and is such a lovely boy in both looks and nature. Being a really traditional boy will fit my breeding program so well too. I’m beyond happy. New chapter.

Our newest addition early this morning 11/12/21 at 7am. Very last SD Rolls Royce baby for us at Kirashae Park Stud. Beautiful black tobiano c**t yet to be named. He is 7/8th (87%) Gypsy cob with his lovely dam being Chuid-Broid Kestrel. Beautiful maiden mare that cannot be faulted with her care. Will get more pics in a few days when it cools down as I didnt want to disturb her "hiding" him under the trees when it was so hot today. Lovely tall boy by the looks of it too.

It’s easy when you contact a repeat buyer and ask if they know anyone and the answer is basically “yes me” lol. Done deal. We will miss his cute little face around here. Cara's foal is 93% Gypsy Cob, I call him Spook as he was born on Halloween. Thick blaze.

Duets foal is 50% Gypsy Cob, Kirashae Park Royalty. Thin blaze.

Introducing our lovely purebred Gypsy Cob c**t Kirashae Park Bentley (aka BJ). Hoping this fantastic c**t can follow in his sires footsteps even though they are some pretty big shoes to fill. These pics are from 12 hours to 5 days old. Born 24/10/21. I showed a friend some just dried in morning shots after his birth and she went "wow look at that feather" I think I agree now he will take after both parents and have a tonne of hair. SD Rolls Royce (purebred imported Gypsy Cob) x Watermark Little Alice (purebred Gypsy Cob). Very very happy with how he is going.

Finally catching up on a few pics taken over the last few weeks. This is a pure clydie mare Illana taken on the the 'day' she foaled dawn, lunchtime (looking very over it all and very saggy) and then 2-30am on 2/11/21 (yeah technically next day). She is such an awesome mare and we just love having her here. Thank you Trish for allowing us to have your wonderful horses here. Filly is called Featherdale Venus and is a F2 Drum Horse by Featherdale Over the Moon.

Last day of holidays done and dusted. 3 out of 4 foals born and going well. Due at beginning of 3 weeks holidays but all 3 decided to go this last week. 2 today on my last day lol. All c**ts and very happy. Holidays were hard this time cause of horse stuff going on but I’m ok and looking forward to going back to work tomorrow. Best of all cause foal watch is over for the 3 that were threatening to go I can actually sleep in my own bed for a few hours tonight which is something I haven’t done since the first day of my holidays over3 weeks ago. I sleep on the couch for foal watch so I can have the tv on and the foaling alarm only a foot away without waking anyone else up. Only the clydie mare to go now with my 10 years in the making Featherdale Drum horse (F2). So excited and now I will probably miss it and hubby will have the pleasure of greeting him or her into the world. Just a quick phone shot of Duets foal born Sunday morning. Of course she decided to foal in the one muddy patch in the whole paddock from our horrid rain a few days ago so a quick pick up of foal and carried to my vet yard for the night which is hard packed. Felt bad as we keep it bare in case I take on a horse that can’t eat (Eg after surgery etc) but Duet didn’t mind as it meant she got a stack of hay and an extra hardfeed for the night lol.
