It’s with big, sad puppy dog eyes, that we're sorry to announce that our Diggiddy Doggy Daycare South Fremantle centre will be closing.

The last day of trading will be Friday 14th June 2024.

For those clients who have pre-purchased value passes, we will be refunding any unused visits. Our Customer Service Team will be in contact with these clients directly from the 8th June to discuss your preferred refund option.

We’d like to say it’s been an absolute pleasure taking care of your dogs, and we’ll miss all the play, exercise, socialisation, enrichment, and nap times just as much as they will!

Diggiddy's 2nd Birthday!!! 🎉🥳🎈

On Wednesday we held our 2nd birthday bash and we rolled out the red carpet for our dogs - some of which have been here since our inauguration! We had a record breaking 57 friends join us for the party.

We decided that the day should be a non-stop fun fest with every toy imaginable, 1000 games of fetch, musical statues, bon-bons and of course a lot of fun birthday hat photo opportunities. The dogs were absolutely yipping with glee when we pulled out the piece de resistance our birthday cake!!

The Diggiddy South Fremantle team would personally like to thank everyone for your support over the past two years! We have adored caring for our beloved furry friends and have loved watching these pups grow into such confident, social dogs 💕

On Wednesday we celebrated Kevin’s 3rd Birthday!🎁

Kevin is widely loved by dogs and humans for his playful, goofy and loveable nature, and is a big hit in the grooming room for being able to pull off the funkiest and wildest hairstyles! Kevin's currently rocking a fur puffer vest but his greatest hits have included a mullet and a mohawk, and of course his ever present moustache! Even better, Kevin's family made a delicious doggy cake for all his friends to share, us carers were jealous we couldn't take a bite!

This week we had our dogs channeling their inner Beyoncé by dressing them up in cowboy hats! We had the country songs playing throughout the daycare as the carers and the dogs practiced this best line dancing - yeehaw!🤠

🐶 WELCOME TO THE FAMILY WEDNESDAY 🐶

Last week was a shorter week, but it sure was jam packed full of fun, silliness and Easter dress ups!

We welcomed two new dogs to the Diggiddy family - Ruby the 18 month old Chocolate Labrador and Nikita the 8 month old Australian Shepherd💕

These two high energy pups made friends instantly with their friendly butt wiggles, keeness to wrestle and love of pats and treats. It was almost impossible to get a solo photo of them both, that’s just how popular these new girls were! 

Welcome Ruby and Nikita, we can’t wait to see your growth at Diggiddy!!

⭐️DOG OF THE MONTH: JAKE⭐️

Our Dog of the Month for March is the hilarious Jake!

Jake has been attending Diggiddy since July last year and has quickly become a staff and dog favourite to play with. This large mixed breed boy is a gentle giant who plays with both little and big dogs alike, perfectly altering his play style to best suit the other dogs’ needs.

We LOVE taking his photo because he’s constantly pulling the silliest faces, his signature pose is his lip getting stuck to show us his pearly whites. A very expressive guy, he always has us in stitches and brings so many smiles to his carer’s faces.

One of our favourite things about Jake is his tantrums he throws when being picked up from daycare. He’ll put the brakes on in reception and refuse to go to the car unless one of the staff pretend to go home with him and walk him to his car 💕

Congratulations Jake! A well deserved win 🥇

It’s been a huge week of birthdays here at Diggiddy so we’ve kept the party rolling all week long!

On Tuesday the irresistible Iggy turned 5. This handsome cuddle bug Border Collie has been coming since we opened and sure does know how to strike a pose. We had a bubble and fetch party for him, complete with lots of yummy cookies his parents brought in 🍪

On Wednesday marvellous Maverick the Australian Terrier turned the big 8! This gorgeous guy is one of our friendliest Diggiddy dogs, loving big dogs and small and often popping in to say hi in multiple pens on one day. We celebrated with CAKE and CUPCAKES that his family brought in which make one big fun mess 🧁

And last but not least, on Thursday barrel of fun Barry the Koolie, turned 2! This lean speed machine started off as a nervous teenager but soon grew to love everything about daycare…. especially fetch! We kept the balls flying all day in honour of his favourite game 🎾

All three birthday boys’ friends loved all the fun activities, dress ups and snacks throughout the week - hopefully returning home nice and tired and all partied out 🎉

🐶DOG OF THE MONTH: FERN🐶

February’s dog of the month won by a landslide of nominations from her carers, the beautiful Fern!

Fern first started attending Diggiddy as a wee 4 month old baby in July 2022 and since then we have watched her blossom into the wonderful girl she is today. If it’s your dog’s first day at Diggiddy, chances are they have met and played with Fern as she is one of the most welcoming dogs we have here. She makes sure to have a nice gentle wrestle with every pup she meets, often returning home covered in slobber from all the kisses she’s giving and receiving. And while she’s not fussy when it comes to friend choices, she’ll often be found in one big pile of golden fluff with her fellow Golden Retriever pals 💕

Fern may be on the smaller side for a golden retriever (look at those short little legs) but what she lacks in height she makes up in personality! She’s always putting a smile on her carers faces from all the funny faces she pulls, dress ups she allows us to put her in and kisses she gives us at nap time.

For her beautiful, friendly and silly nature Fern has won our Dog of the Month! Congratulations Fern 🌿 🎉

⭐️ STAR OF THE YEAR ANNOUNCEMENT IS COMING ⭐️

Has your dog returned home from daycare with a star with their name on it?

Each day our carers pick a ‘Star of the Day’ from their pen. This could be a dog who has been super well behaved, has come out of their shell and made friends for the first time, has tolerated some cheeky puppies or has curbed some of their naughty behaviours and is showing some impressive growth.

We have been keeping a tally of all our daily winners and will be announcing our ‘Star of the Year’ with the most wins on New Year’s Eve. Keep your eyes peeled!

🎵 SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TOWN🎵

And he’s made a stop at Diggiddy to take some photos to raise money for The Christmas Project! For a $5 donation to help children in need, your dog will get a photo with Santa in their report card and a special printed version, along with a little treat 🍪

From Monday 11th - Friday 22nd December we have special pool party slots each day! For two hours your pooch can run amok and have lots of fun water enrichment, followed by a towel dry and cologne spritz!

Spaces per day are limited so please speak to our friendly team to sign your dog up.

This year we are raising money for the The Christmas Project which partners with charities across Australia and New Zealand to help change the lives of children for the better this Christmas.

For a $5 donation your pooch will get a photo with Santa which will be added to their report card and you will get a special printed version along with a tasty thank you treat!

🐶 DOG OF THE MONTH DECEMBER: LOLLY 🐶

Have you met our BFG (big friendly giant) Lolly yet? This gorgeous Great Dane has been a Diggiddy regular since August and quickly won the hearts of carers and her peers thanks to her gorgeous personality.

This beautiful girl loves all her friends big and small, but you’ll often find her in the ‘small dog’ pen because she likes to get her zzz’s in at daycare. All our smaller dogs adore her, particularly if they haven’t met a dog as big as her before! We often find our small fluffy jumping up to give her kisses or snuggling up to her on a bed.

When she does get her bursts of energy she often has pals Dottie and Charlee by her side for some polite wrestles, dress ups and of course if there’s a snack on offer she’ll sit up super straight to show her great manners. You know she’s having a whale of a time when you hear her excited “ah-wooo” yodel, which brings a smile to all of our faces.

The Diggiddy team love our gal Lolly and her soft and gentle nature and for this reason she was nominated for our Dog of the Month! Congratulations Lolly!! 🎉💕

It’s almost the silly season, but that doesn’t mean that the fun has to stop! 🎄🎁

Have your dog join us in our super cool airconditioned pens for a whole lot of Diggiddy fun while you prep the house for Christmas. We even welcome new dogs who are just travelling through and are exploring all Freo has to offer ☀️

We will be closed for only one week over Christmas, from Monday 25th and reopening on Tuesday 2nd January.

Last spots for the year are filling fast, so it is essential to pre-book to join in the fun 🎉

This week has been an absolute scorcher so on our hottest days we whipped up some yummy ice blocks for our wonderful dogs! A little bit of frozen berries, low fat natural Greek together and some water mixed in! They absolutely adored it, just look at these satisfied faces 🍦😋
