Public Announcement:

It is with a heavy heart that I'm announcing that we will not be offering reproductive services at Equine Veterinary & Dental Services Pty. Ltd. (EVDS) this coming season.

After 23 seasons of working 7 days/wk between September & January, my brain, body & team have requested to not keep doing Repro on top of all the other shinanigans we get up to during the year. 🤠

The good news is that within 10 mins to 3 hours of us, there are several extremely good veterinary clinics offering reproductive services , which I'm sure you can Google.

I thank the clients I've serviced since 2002 at EVDS for believing and trusting me with your mares & stallions, but I'm no longer able to cope with another breeding season - which also happens to be the most poorly remunerated service per hour we offer👍

I’ll endeavour to contact the owners of frozen semen in our 3-4 tanks asap, which we’ve foolishly never charged a cent for since 2013, yet paid out $4-5 K/yr to keep the liquid N topped up, to organise either throwing your semen out, or having you organise to having it transferred to a commercial facility who’ll likely charge you.

PS the mare in the crush is Big Lilly (Midnight Lights) who gave me the most beautiful, ugly, unco foal I could ever wish for, but Raffa will be my heart horse, who I'll care for over the next 10-40 years - how ever long he’ll choose to stay on this Earth for! ❤️
