Welcome to Dogs In the Dark - South Hobart.

Born from a need to safely walk the dog after dark in Winter, we thought it might be nice to trial a series of Wednesday night 5-7 pm on the South Hobart Oval. The aim is to provide a safe, friendly lit space for people and dogs to come together just as any other time - but with the lights on.
It will hopefully work well for those who might work shift, or have other needs to get out after dark.

Our hope is that after this trial period the City of Hobart might be able to enable this activity to happen each daylight savings season.

Please note all activities are taken at the risk of the individual and their animal companion. We will not be liable for any bad behaviour, dog fights/ attacks or personal injury. Boring but necessary.
