Oh heck!
Found Hearts urgently needs volunteer coordinators; like today!
2 of our wonderful coordinators are finishing up in the coming weeks. One is in the final stages of studying to become a vet nurse (how exciting!) and one needs some down time to recover from an injury (get well soon!) and to settle back into working fulltime.
What is a coordinator?
Well to explain it simply, a coordinator looks after a set amount of rescue pets and their foster carers. They lead a team of dedicated and passionate people who care for unwanted, abused or abandoned animals and find them wonderful furever families.
We all love a happy ending, right? Our coordinators have created over 500 this year. Pretty awesome hey? We certainly think so! And we hope that you will carry on that tradition and make some beautiful family units of your own.
Oh, and it doesn’t matter where you live, as long as its in Australia as most is done online.
Commitment:
Well, you might want to specialise in dogs, or cats, or birds, whatever floats your boat really. Our team will discuss with you how many hours you have to spare and come up with the perfect formula to suit you and your circumstances.
Needs:
You will need a computer, mobile phone, some rescue knowledge, and tons of enthusiasm.
