Ch. C.I.B Asuare Dancing InTheMoonlight ‘Baci’ - only showed Friday and got Runner-up Best of Breed to her sister, Po

Ch. Braconpoynt King of the Forest ‘Moose’ - Best of Breed all 3 nights and a shortlist for Group Sunday night.

Biggest surprise was Ch. Gyoztes Danube Dancer ‘Maverick’ - taking out an 11 Neuter in Group and almost a quarter of the way to his title in just one weekends

Towards the end of last year we decided to sterilise Maverick and he’s been a better dog since

Last night he hit the show ring for his first time in Neuter and took out an 11 point Neuter in Group. I’m super proud of how he went and hoping he keeps up his good behaviour

We may not have much competition here in WA at breed level but I’m super proud how we’ve done at National level on the 2024 DogzOnline Pointscore considering a number of our dogs were lightly shown

Baci - 11th on Breed Challenge National Leaderboard (1st in WA)
Mav - 27th on Breed Challenge National Leaderboard (2nd in WA) & 24th on the Rising Star Leaderboard (1st in WA) - he aged out in July
Cinque - 8th Show Dog of the Year (2nd in WA), 5th Breed Challenge National Leadeboard (1st in WA) and the only dog to have a C.I.B title
Moose - 7th Show Dog of the Year (1st in WA), 7th Breed Challenge National Leaderboard (2nd in WA), 2nd on the Breed Rising Star & 4th on the Gundog Rising Star in WA.
Cookies - 1st Neuter GSP in WA, 4th Neuter GSP Nationally & 3rd Neuter Gundog in WA

As breeders we ended up 11th on the Confirmation Breeder of the Year, not bad considering we only lightly showed Mav

A bitter sweet day, Louie leaves to his new home. We’ve been told he will get daily beach walks and has presents waiting for him already.

Louie got a bath yesterday in preparation and then had to be re-bathed this morning as he got dirty 🤦‍♀️

The last 6 weeks have been interesting to say the least, broken bone was never in my plan

Looking forward to our new look show team in 2025 (debuting late January for those curious 😝), so you may see posts of some dogs you haven’t seen before or more of some who have been occasionally featured

But also a bit bitter sweet - Rumba’s career is really winding down 😭 and Cookies retired from the show ring. The original A Team is now limited in what they do and the B, C & D Teams have taken over the reins but the A Team remains the favourite

Keeping everything crossed that we will be welcoming more puppies in 2025 and expanding the Gyoztes family as our puppy owners are considered family

Unfortunately luck is not our side and Popo has mastitis so we are having to dry her up and stop the puppies feeding from her. Instead they are being bottled fed for the moment and it makes for a cute video. One of the girls needing no help on feeding today

Even with a bit of help Cinque didn’t have much luck. I lost the bags too but she couldn’t pick them up again

Baci also got a run today and at the end we ran her with Cinque in the hopes of getting her to run better. Whilst Cinque didn’t run, Baci did a cracking run, unfortunately no video of it though. Looking forward to seeing how she goes at an ANKC trial next weekend. Hopefully the Judge understands Gundogs
