Goochie Poochie Are Hiring!

We are looking for a casual bather 20 plus hours to join our amazing team.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, patience, and a love for animals.

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Dog Bather to join our team at GOOCHIE POOCHIE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following.

- Bathing dogs using appropriate grooming techniques and products
- Drying dogs using towels, blow dryers, and other equipment
- Brushing and combing dogs to remove tangles and matting
- Preparing dogs for grooming and styling by trimming nails and cleaning ears
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment in the grooming salon

Essential
- Previous experience working as a Dog Bather or in a similar role would be a bonus
- Knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
- An understanding of grooming tools and equipment, and how to use them safely and effectively
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
- A passion for working with dogs and a commitment to their wellbeing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends

Essential Requirements

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift and move dogs of varying sizes and weights
