We have 2 runners today at our home track Devonport!!!

Race 2 Leo Davinci 💛💙💛
He’s having his first run for the stable, so we will know a bit more about him after today’s efforts but looking forward to see him hit the line well.

Race 6 Getcha Groove On ❤️🤍💙
After her maiden win on Devonport Cup day she’s returning to the races again at the same track and distance. She’s up against it a bit from the outside barrier from the 1000m but she’s very well and the blinkers go on for the first time.

It was to quiet at the stables so Leah and I went shopping on Inglis digital and have picked up a little 5k cheapy to keep us entertained. We would like to keep 50% of her but also get some new and existing clients involved with little shares 5% and 10%

10% = $500 > on going costs per month are approximately $200-$250 per month when in full training.

5% = $250> on going costs per month are approximately $100- $125 per month when in full training.

Please note this price does not include sales overheads including transport & GST if applicable etc

⭐️Platinum Reggae ⭐️is her name she’s a 4Yr mare and only had the 4 starts and previously trained by Gemma Riley at Pakenham. Her last race was on the 15th Jan and has since been in the paddock she’ll arrive Thursday.

We have a runner at Hobart r2 G G City Boy at 1:45❤️💛 he’ll try and make it 3 wins in a row. He’s come through his last win really well and we thought it would be a nice time to step him out to the 1400m off a relatively quick turn around. Only a field of 6 for this 30k class 5 but a very competitive field.

Devonport Cup Day delivered the goods for our little team. It was kicked off with❤️💙🤍 Getcha Groove On winning the Leigh Jordan maiden with Chloe on board. That took the pressure off and what ever happened for the rest of the day was going to be a bonus I was just thrilled to train a winner on cup day and for the Loane family. Then the old boy ❤️💛G G Can Win came storming down the outside to win the Torque Gear for Guys bm66 that’s my first double . Making it 2 wins within a week and ridden by Erica both times and owned by the family and the boys Nic and Zac from the Stables ( my local 🍻 so this is very convenient). To top the day right off we saddled up 💛❤️G G City Boy in the last. He was just to good for them after getting cleaned up at the 600m Kelv had no choice to bring him out in the clear and it was game over from the 400m when he put a space on them!! He’s alway showed good promise and wrapped for the group of owners and Kelv who’s always been there whenever I’ve needed him for a gallop or race ride and he’s not the easiest to ride🤯. Thanks to the DRC club for an amazing day and the track boys especially Ben and Juzzie I’m loving the passion the boys are putting into the track and hopefully building on the track facilities in the future.

The achievement of having 3 runners for 3 winners on our home tracks biggest day 🏆 isn’t lost on us and we are extremely grateful for all the messages. Big thanks to our Vet Andrea who is always there ( she does eventually get back to us ) whenever we need advice. Also our Farriers Maurice “storyteller” Jarman who shod all 3 winners and Liam “when he lobs” Beamish also a great part of it and drinking partner. Then we have Megsey and her pulsing machine and Noush’s Cyro machine also Flic and her little property that gives our horses that little freshen up when they need it are the little 1 percenters. Then the old man who is there every morning to help me out and keep me on me toes. My mum and mother in law baby sitting our boys just makes things so much easier. Last but certainly not least least my gorgeous wife who is definitely the back bone of the operation ( just ask her ) I can’t believe how lucky I am to have her in my corner 🥰 we are enjoying the hot run we are on and loving our life and are just extremely grateful for all the support we are getting.

Devonport Cup Day has arrived !!!
We have 3 runners today :
R1. Getcha Groove On ❤️🤍💙
She has been there abouts with her first 2 runs for the campaign but with the addition of Winkers and Chloe’s 3 kgs off we expect her to be right around the mark.

R4. G G Did Win 💛❤️
He’s on the 7 day back up but everything seems to be right with him still. He’s bounced through his win at Longford and if he can get some favours will be hitting the line.

R9. G G City Boy 💛❤️
Another last start winner and ticked his earnings over the 100k mark 💰 😉 only a small field to end the day but is very competitive with 3 last start winners in it. Really happy with him and no reason he can’t add to his winning tally today.

Hope everyone enjoys the day and like I said last year drink heaps and gamble irresponsibly it’s Devonport Cup Day 😜
