“We recently brought home our adorable puppy, Milo, from Candy’s Cavoodles, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Milo is a sweet, confident little pup, and it’s clear that his excellent temperament is a result of Maria’s thoughtful breeding program.

Maria’s approach to raising her puppies is outstanding. She runs a well-structured breeding and socialization program, ensuring the puppies are well-adjusted and ready for their new homes by the time they turn eight weeks old. Milo came to us healthy, happy, and already comfortable with various sounds, people, and environments.

If you’re looking for a Cavoodle from a breeder who genuinely cares about their dogs and their future families, I highly recommend Candy’s Cavoodles!”

“Our puppy Daisy has been home with us for a few days now and she is an absolute joy. Maria has put in so much time and effort to give the puppies the very best start in life and get them ready for their new home. This has really shone through since bringing Daisy home with us. She has transitioned to her new life with our family seamlessly and settled in very well. We put this down to all of the wonderful work of Maria.

Daisy is such a sweet, calm, confident, loving and clever puppy. She came home already trained in using the doggy door, grass potty, understood the puppy recall, sit and lay down commands and happy to sleep in her crate.

Throughout the process we received regular updates which we have really enjoyed. The communication has been excellent with all my mountains of questions answered so quickly. We loved the fact that Maria welcomed us into her home to meet our puppy at 2,4 and 6 weeks old which allowed us to bond with Daisy. We also met Daisy’s Mum and Dad and viewed the genetic checks for both sides.

Maria is an outstanding breeder and we couldn’t be happier with our new puppy. We highly recommend Candys Cavoodles.

Thank you so much Maria ❤️

“We recently brought our little boy, Teddie, home🐶
He has been such a calm, content & happy little puppy. He has slotted into our family perfectly & fuss free, even with all the loud noises & business with 3 young boys.
I thoroughly enjoyed this experience through Candy’s Cavoodles- from the day he was born I loved getting the regular photos & updates from Maria. The hard work & dedication that is put into these puppies before we bring them home, really shows.
It has been a very seamless process & we couldn’t be happier with our Teddie!”

PUPPY SAFETY and LUXATING PATELLAS! 🐶

Puppy 🐶 jumping off beds 🛌 lounge, chair 🪑 jumping tricks for treats etc is discouraged. Avoid Tik-Tok dog tricks jumping over rows of toilet paper. It can cause injuries in the form of luxating patellas, as does slip and sliding on floorboards and tiles. Ensure your puppy’s paws are clear of overgrown fur. 🐾 have a ramp for puppy to enable puppy to get on and off furniture. Carry puppy up and down stairs while small.

Luxating patellas cause families distress on the hip pockets. Puppy bones and joints are still developing up to 18 months. Ensure your pet insurance is up to date in the unfortunate event your puppy is injured. 🐶🧸

TUG OF WAR

Playing a rough tug of war with puppy 🐶 should be avoided. The pulls and tugs and jerking at the rope, that a human does during the play can cause serious injury to a puppy’s 🐶 neck. It can also set off their prey drive instinct thereby unexpectedly training slight aggression.

Allow puppy to play tug of war by tying the rope to a solid pole or fixture. Puppy will learn to play and adjust their strength of pull according to their own strength. ❤️

AVOIDING SEPARATION ANXIETY

When you bring home pup 🐶 it’s natural to feel excited and happy and have puppy to be always close to you. This can cause separation anxiety. So that pup doesn’t develop bad habits which can cause family a little pain I recommend the following training tips;

🐶 do have a segregated space for your pup to have time on its own, avoid the urge to pick up puppy or take out pup from his own space when crying or whining.
🐶 do give him time on it’s own, take the family out without bringing puppy.
🐶 when leaving the home make it a non-event. Don’t fuss about leaving him home.
🐶 when arriving back home, make it also a non-event, refrain from rushing to puppy, not gush or fuss over him. Ignore pup until he has calmed down. Then praise him and give him attention when he is sitting quietly.

Separation anxiety can cause distress to families and annoyance to your neighbours. Avoid this behavioural issue by implementing these simple steps.🐶

You’ll enjoy puppy long term and puppy will be a delight and blessing ❤️

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to individually train Daisy’s puppies to take treats from the hand without sacrificing fingers from sharp teeth and to teach them to sit! It’s still chaotic and messy in a group setting but the puppies are getting the idea ❤️🐶🎯 💕💕
