Oh me oh my what do we have here 🤗

A special buckskin filly 🌸 Our first foal by our c**t Jessie San Lee 💙

It has been a bit of an anxious wait for this filly. Her beautiful mumma contracted a mosquito disease when she was appx 6weeks pregnant. She recovered, the foal was scanned and found to still be alive, and we all took a sigh of relief.
On 3rd December the neurological signs of the disease returned, and at times the symptoms were so bad I didn’t know if I was doing the right thing keeping the mare alive.
She’s very wobbly and I thought that if she did manage to have the foal, there was a high probability she would stand on it.
Since being born this filly has been so bright , interacting with us and seems to be drinking almost every time I turn around. Her mum has been the best mum she can be, doting on her little one, and her signs have slightly improved now that Bub is out. She still gets tired very quickly and we’re keeping her stabled and shaded for the time being .
We still have a ways to go and not out of the woods yet, but two days in we are hopeful . Sandy our special girl we love you dearly 💝

Reduced for next two weeks prior to being started .

This gorgeous buckskin 2yr old filly is being brought back in this afternoon and will be ready to go in the next two weeks . Saddled and sat on previously without issues , intentionally left to grow out further. Genuinely quiet, sensible filly. Catch anywhere, good to lead, tie up, load on float . Up to date with tetanus/strangles vaccine , teeth done. Wants to be your mate and will stand at the gate wishing to be part of whatever you’re up to. Ready for someone to start their way and put their own stamp on . Expected mature height 14hh maybe a smidge over with a solid build. Only looking for a new home as we have retained two other fillies by her dam, and limited time with other foals and young ones coming through means I’m just not getting time for her. Her mum Miss Echo Star will also be available once her current filly is weaned next year. . Updated photos and video of ‘Ember’ to come over the next two weeks. Photo taken 25th November . Anyone who knows me will know how difficult this decision has been as I have a huge soft spot for this filly. Unfortunately it’s time for me to put my big girl panties on and let my little girl go off and be someone else’s friend and do what’s she’s bred to do. Should be very cowy (will hunt cattle in the paddock already) and suited to cutting . Will be selective where she goes so don’t be suprised if we have as many Q for you as you do for us .
