We’ve returned home from a big week selling at the NUTRIEN Classic and Big Country bull sale! And what a week it was…While Big Country was a tough sale due to the extreme weather, we’re very thankful to all the buyers who’ve bought some great value bulls and heifers, we’re sure they’ll do a great job.
NUTRIEN however, will be one we’ll remember for a very long time….we are extremely honoured and humbled by all of the kind comments, purchasers, underbidders and support shown throughout the week. They were a great batch of sale graduates and we hope you enjoy them as much as we have.

To the special group of individuals and freinds, who were the eventual new owners-Thank you.

Mac and Gayle, you’re an inspiration to more people than you’d ever know, and we’re extremely honoured.

NUTRIEN VIDEOS ARE HERE!
We’d like to introduce our first lot into the ring, Lot 140 AMANDAS HOTT. A big, strong mare, extensively hauled throughout 2024 competing in Snaffle Bit Futurity’s. She’s had the miles mustering, a trained snaffle bit cutter and feels like she’ll run a cow naturally. The whole package.
** This video was her very first time tracking around a cow, no practice run beforehand, no editing the first bits out…
* For those who spotted the little video bomber, you’ll see more of them later this weekend!

She’ll be one for the whole family. Sired by EB’s PHALARIS and from a proven producing mare in ‘TINKS LITTLE TASSA’.
Finalist NCHA NON PRO Futurity and the OPEN NON PRO CHAMPION, Middlemount 2024. Solid cutting mare, very easy to prepare and show. She’s come back in after a spell very well and showing excellent promise for her Derby year. Quick footed, sound and quiet. She’s the whole package.

Beautiful type of SANMAN daughter, from a well performed DUAL REY daughter, NINE SHADES O REY (cutting and campdraft winner)
Big, strong, smooth travelling mare. Trained cutting horse, shown in the OPEN NCHA FUTURITY.
Very quiet, cowy, completely sound and would suit the whole family to go back cutting, drafting or challenging. Great nature to make a very competitive campdraft Futurity prospect. She’s top class.

An outstanding EB’s PHALARIS daughter and out of a performed ‘METALLIC CAT’ mare, ‘Metallic Rose’.
Fully trained cutting horse, finalist NCHA NP Futurity.
Very light mare in a snaffle, smooth travelling and sharp footed. Quiet, athletic and cow smart. She’s the whole package to go back cutting, or make it to the top drafting or challenging. Completely sound, set and ready to compete at the highest level.

With Christmas right around the corner, we thought we’d drop a sneak peek at how the BIG COUNTRY 2025 bulls are coming along. Look out early for lots 9-12 for 4 big, impressive reds. Lots 198-212 will see our biggest and best offering of joined females, and lots 424-434 will see 11 top shelf greys. We think the best group we’ve taken to Big Country. Be there 3rd and 4th February. Keep an eye out for photos and videos soon as well as the NUTRIEN sale horses!
