** Special Announcement **

After much deliberation and very careful consideration I (Tiff) have made the decision to step away from the hands-on side of the PEMF Therapy business.

There are a few reasons which lead me to this decision. At the ripe old age of 50 my back and shoulders are not holding up as well as they used to and I am at maximum Nurofen capacity!!

I have also always had a burning desire to try my hand at marketing and it feels like it’s now or never so I have been studying a certificate in Digital Marketing which I am really enjoying.

I have absolutely LOVED treating all of your beautiful steeds over the past 7 years and I will miss the chats with their owners so much and am proud to call a lot of you friends.

I will still be involved in the business but more in a promotional/ admin capacity than a hands-on role.

Of course Flic will still be pulsing away, full steam ahead and is 100% dedicated to servicing all of my clients moving forward and can be contacted either via PM through the On The Pulse Page or on her mobile 0400 811 305.

🌟 Welcome to 'WOUNDSDAY' 🌟

Most people are aware of the amazing results that PEMF has as a maintenance therapy for our equine athletes. Helping to keep thier bodies supple and healthy to allow optimum performance.
BUT DID YOU KNOW.....
On of the greatest benefits of PEMF (Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field) therapy is as an aid in healing wounds, tendon injuries, bone fractures, muscle tears and any other soft tissue or bone injuries that horses seem to delight in doing to themselves!
By increasing the blood flow to the damaged areas and keeping the cells as healthy as possible, PEMF supports the body as it heals itself.
The results we have seen over the past 6 years since we embarked on this adventure are nothing short of remarkable! Healing time is significantly reduced as is the formation of scar tissue.
We thought it might be of interest if every Wednesday we show you an example of the magic of PEMF!

Todays patient is Leo, a 2yo tb racehorse who had a run in with a gate.
Leo had a large L shaped tear over his knee. He was taken to the Morphettville Equine Clinic immediately where he was expertly sutured back together by Dr Todd Booth. Leo stayed in hospital for treatment for about a week then came here for his post op care. He had weekly pulse sessions with the big, high intensity machine and 3 x weekly applications of the Sport Innovations low intensity leg wrap for 30 mins.
The results speak for themselves.

Some of the FAQ's you may have are:
🔹️ HOW LONG AFTER INJURY CAN YOU START PULSING?
A: As long as there is no active bleeding for at least 48hrs the sooner the better. Because PEMF dilates the blood vessels we need to ensure there is adequate clotting and healing of damaged vessels before pulsing to prevent bleeding starting up again. In the case of small wounds this may be 48hrs. Large haematomas can be a week or 2.
Always be guided by your vet.
Tendon and ligament injuries we like to leave at least a week or 2. We then use the low intensity pulse boots for a week then weekly pulsing, low and slow with the big yellow box after that.

🔹️CAN YOU PULSE OVER A BANDAGE?
A: YES! The magnetic field will simply pass through the bandage to the leg underneath. We may just need to increase the intensity slightly.
