Forest Park Riding & Equitation School has been run by Grant and Heather Hughes for over 30 years. Forest Park has three sections– Agistment, Riding School and Performance Horses. We currently have around 50 full time & part time employees working for us, delivering Canberra the highest quality equine services available. The overriding goal at Forest Park is to share their love of horses and horse riding with everyone wishing to be involved in equine pursuits no matter how young or old.

Bookings are now open for our autumn holiday programs.
We will be running the following programs:
Monday 14/4 - Thursday 17/4 (4 days) for all levels
Tuesday 22/4 - Thursday 24/4 (3 days) for all levels
Friday 25/4 (one day) for beginner riders.
Our programs are suitable for children age 7 and older.

We also have availability this coming weekend on our trail rides.
We have availability both Saturday and Sunday in the morning and afternoon. Our trail rides cost $70.00.
We still have vacancies on our 45 minute pony ride which is suitable for children under age 8. This will be run on Sunday at 2.15pm and cost $50.00.

We have a couple of vacancies on our group pony ride this coming Sunday 2/2 at 10.45am. This is a 45 minute ride along one of our trails with parents leading their children's ponies under the guidance of a staff member. The cost is $50.00.
We also have a couple of vacancies in our weekday little league classes for term one (10 weeks). These run at 3.40pm for 30 minutes.

We will be running trail rides starting next week (February) of a Thursday at 10.45am for any level of rider and also on Fridays at 1.30pm for intermediate- advanced riders.
The cost for the one hour ride is $70.00.

We will also be re-commencing our Friday intermediate-advanced trail ride on Friday 7th February 1.30 - 2.30pm
This will run each Friday at this time. The cost is $70.00.

We have a couple of vacancies in our intermediate group in our 5 day program 6-10 January. Intermediate riders should be able to canter with a balanced seat. The cost for the program is $695.00.
