Running this business has taught me a lot, especially that we all make mistakes. What's important is learning from them, which makes us stronger and more resilient. There will be rough patches, but pushing through those challenges is what makes the journey worthwhile. Your unwavering support has been nothing short of amazing.

PERTH!
Josie will be visiting Perth to have your dogs back in packs and ready for our new addition to the team, Ricky! Spots are extremely limited.

Ricky has been a part of Mutt Magic since the beginning, helping with admin, and assisting with training. He has done plenty of pack walks with Josie, and met the majority of the dogs in Mutt Magic packs. He will be Mutt Magic's main dog walker and future trainer.

To reserve a spot for your dog, your dog must be available 6 of the 10 days that Josie is present. They will be going through a reintroduction/ introduction to pack walks, and training around distractions. *You don't have to be home, as long as we have access to your dog* Message us to secure a reservation and for more details on pricing.

There will also be limited spots available for personal lessons so that we can help you to help your dog.

*Owners with Helper dogs* if you have a dog in which was part of the helper dog team with us, please get in contact.

*Dog walkers* if you'd like to learn how to walk dogs in a pack and be considered in joining the Mutt Magic team, get in contact!

Our very first lot of graduates for our pack walk training program! These guys have worked hard, trained hard, tried to sniff harder 🤣 through the past 5 weeks, and are now ready for ongoing pack walks!

If you want your dog to join this friendly pack, we still have 2 spots left for Caloundra and surrounds.

We also cover other areas, however packs are usually formed within suburbs of close proximity.

Meet Cairo!
A 2 year old German Shepherd. Cairo has a massive bark but a soft heart. This sweet boy can be very reactive around other dogs even though he doesn't mean any harm. He is doing our pack walk training program so he can learn to socialize and also trust his handler to make the right decisions.

Meet Teddy! A staffy x a few things 😝
Teddy was a foster fail, and has adjusted very well to his family. However his owners are still a little unsure on how he is socially as his excitement can be a little too much for some dogs. He will be completing training with us, and possibly joining in on some pack walks in the near future.

Rizo is 10 years old, and an absolute sweetheart. She absolutely loves humans, but is still finding her way around dogs. Rizo will be training with us to help reduce her reactivity around other dogs and hopefully make some doggo friends!

Sunshine coast dog owners! Introducing Walk and trains. Not everyone has the time to train their dog, and that's why we are here to help get your dog started on the right track, by taking them out for you. Many dogs we take on have reactive history, so we do lots of training and exposure to desensitize them. Some dogs just need a touch up on obedience, in which we assist in most areas, from loose lead, sits, downs, recall, and many more. Get in touch for more details 🤗

Sunday group classes are great way to socialize your dog in a controlled environment. Dogs are taught to pay attention to their handlers around distractions. A week of love, fun, and training 🥰

Happy 1 year! Today marks Mutt Magic's first birthday. What started off as a hobby, quickly turned into a full time job. From 7 dogs in pack walks to now 63. Huge thanks to all those who helped make this happen. The dogs are happy, and I couldn't be happier. Here's a video of the pack dogs as they see us.

I've been holding this off for a while, and I'm not one who likes to start sh**. If anything it's far from my intention. However I do feel this needs to be said. As many of you know, I was working alongside ontilt pet resort for a few months. Coming from a dog lover perspective I thought I'd be entering another dog lovers world class facility. Which don't get me wrong, it is a great resort. But the services are questionable. So here's a video explaining everything

In sync downs part #2 ft Marley crawling and being a good distraction

Today we practiced loose lead around distractions, as well as impulse control. These guys are killing it. Even got some neighbors watching 🤗

✨Impulse control✨ These guys have never done this exercise together, if anything I find they are the most challenging pack to practice impulse control with due to how excited they all are every time. This was the first attempt at impulse control at a gate, in which usually they'd try barge through. Yes it's not perfect, but you can see how quickly they picked things up. I will be posting another video soon on the same dogs so we can see the improvement!
