Archie was back 🦋
Archie is having surgery for a sore paw this week… and he was in a sulky mood 😂. His mum told me he wasn’t a happy Chappy before I started and she wasn’t wrong… he whinged the whole time and was definitely out of sorts 😂. He’s an awesome boy but def lets you know if he’s not happy or unwell… he’s a massive sulker 🤣. Other times he’s so well behaved and a happy boy. But his mum always tells me so I know to expect.

Hunter was back 🦋
He’s a sweet gentleman but age (almost 18!!) is making him difficult to groom particularly due to his size and inability to stand long periods. So after discussing with his mum we will have him bathed and dried one day and groomed the next. It’s just too tiring for him to do it in one sitting. He also doesn’t want to be groomed so uses his weight to make it difficult. But it needs to be done for his comfort and there’s no way I’d move an old dog on that has no aggression.

Macey 🌺 and Lenny
This duo dropped by for a groom as they couldn’t get into their usual groomer.
Macey needed a clip off due to condition of coat but I was able to save Lenny’s legs to give him a slightly longer leg and a cute full head!

Meet Marley🌺
Marley’s mum had cut her face so I could only attempt to blend the rest into it. She had lots of tiny matts that needed to be clipped out. She is a more difficult dog to groom as she hated everything from the bath to the clipping…. She was good for parts of her face. But I think she will improve over a few visits as I didn’t push her and finished on a positive.

Oi has the gentlest wee personality. He’s not a fan of anything but has no aggression whatsoever. His legs (& others with the same Shih tzu front bowed legs) are difficult to do as the are not straight and so short you must can’t get clippers around them

My lovely friend Selina, has 3 Cavoodle puppies left. They should grow to around 6/7 kg.
House reared with mum, another dog sister and a human toddler . I will be doing their first puppy tidies next week and then they are ready for their new homes... that will be at their house as they are too young to come into the salon.

First puppy tidy. Did well in the bath, suspicious of the noisy drier (required cuddles) and is learning tool rules.., typical puppy wanting to lick everything. But she did great! Had a good play with Lulu then went home for a Power Nap …. It’s exhausting being a puppy! Did I mention she’s SUPER adorable!!!!
