Ruby & Maloo are back together ♥️
As breeders, one of the most important decisions we make is choosing our pairings – and these two had their second date this past weekend!
Here’s some of the reasons why we are repeating this pairing:
✨ Health & Compatibility – Both parents have excellent health clearances, Ruby’s last pregnancy and whelping were smooth, and effortless. She was an amazing Mumma.
✨ Predictable Traits – From size and energy level to coat types, we can give families realistic expectations because we’ve already seen the results of this pairing.
✨ Quality Over Variety – Responsible breeding isn’t about mixing things up for novelty’s sake. It’s about producing healthy, well-tempered pups that are a great match for their future families.
When a pairing works beautifully, repeating it is the ethical choice. We breed for quality, not quantity – and that means celebrating proven success.
Ruby is currently in season, and if all goes well after her date with Maloo, we’ll be expecting puppies ready for their forever homes in late January 2026.
ℹ️ While it may feel like her last litter wasn’t too long ago, breeding on consecutive cycles is actually healthier for females. Skipping heats can increase the risk of pyometra (a dangerous uterine infection) and other issues.
