As the pups get older, it’s getting harder and harder to catch a clear photo - these little guys never stop moving! But we managed to snag a few cute ones (we think!) amidst the chaos ♥️

Hard to believe it’s already been a year 🥹

One year ago today, we welcomed a very special litter of Ultra Groodles into the world. It was a wild, sleepless, unforgettable time (not too different from now) - and we wouldn’t trade a second of it.

Since then, those pups have grown into the most beautiful dogs with absolutely incredible families, and it’s been such a joy to watch them grow from afar. These are some of the more recent photos their families have shared with us.

Happy birthday to these gorgeous puppies - you’ll always be part of something really special 🐾

A whole new world to sniff!

This week, these tiny paws touched grass for the very first time 🌿🐾

The big, bright world can be a lot at first - new smells, sounds, and textures everywhere. But they’re already starting to love their time outside, and we’re so incredibly proud of them.

One of the most common questions we get is: “What kind of coat will my puppy have?”

In our litters, you’ll usually see two coat types: fleece and wool - both beautiful in their own way, just with a few differences in look and feel as they grow.

🧸 Fleece coats are soft, silky, and have a lovely loose wave or gentle curl to them. They’re often described as “teddy bear coats” - low to non-shedding and easy to maintain with regular brushing. As adults, fleece-coated dogs tend to have a flowing, textured look that’s soft to the touch and gorgeous with a bit of length.

🐑 Wool coats are thicker, denser, and have a tighter curl. They’re more similar to a poodle coat - great for allergy-friendly homes as they tend to retain more dander. Wool coats often have a more textured look as adults and benefit from regular grooming to keep them neat and tangle-free.

We’re already seeing some different coat types come through in this litter - and it’s so exciting to imagine how these pups will look once they’re grown.

Three weeks in, and these pups are growing like weeds (the cute kind of) 😉

We’ve officially hit the wiggly, wobbly, wide-eyed stage. Their eyes are fully open, their hearing is coming in, and they’re becoming more aware of each other and the world around them. It’s wild how much can change in just a week!

They’re really starting to move now - still a bit uncoordinated, but full of determination. We’re now seeing the early signs of play, the tiniest tail wags, and the sweetest little barks 😍

This week’s agenda is to expand their whelping pen. With all this growing and exploring, it’s time to give them a bit more space to stretch out, play, and start discovering the world around them.

Ruby continues to be the calmest, most patient mumma. And Chili… I think she’s counting down the days until these little fluffballs are big enough to play with her outside!

Puppy families - just over 3 weeks until you meet your little one for the very first time. It’s coming up quickly now! Are you counting down yet? ♥️

Your 2-week update! ♥️

I can’t believe how quickly these guys are growing - their eyes are so close to opening, and they’ve started to take their first steps. It’s such a sweet stage as they slowly start to wake up to the world around them.

We’re underway with our Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) - gentle, daily exercises that help build resilience and confidence. These small moments are setting them up to be calm, curious, and well-rounded pups (we’ll share more on what that looks like soon 😉).

Ruby is the absolute best mumma, and Auntie Chili is never too far - always keeping an eye on things, sneaking in sniffs and making sure the cats away from the whelping room 😅

Puppy parents - only 30 days now until you meet your little ones. Are you excited?! ♥️

Meet Ruby & Maloo’s 7 little ones (officially) 🐶✨

While they’re with us, each puppy gets a temporary name. Why? Because these puppies are family to us. Giving them individual names helps us bond deeply with each one, understand their unique needs, and give them the love and attention they deserve as they grow.

Once their forever families choose their names, we’ll use those instead. But for now, we’re cherishing every moment getting to know each of their special personalities.

P.S. Huge thanks to everyone for the beautiful name suggestions - we decided to go with Jane’s idea. Our girls’ names all start with “R” after their mum Ruby, and the boys’ names all start with “M” after their dad Maloo.

A week earthside already 🐶🥹

In just seven days, these pups have already changed so much - growing bigger bellies, finding their little voices, and settling into the rhythm of life in our home. Right now, it’s all about sleeping (up to 22 hours a day!), nursing, and snuggling close to mum - who’s been absolutely incredible.

We keep things quiet and calm in these early days to help everyone feel safe and secure - no bright lights, no loud noises, just soft voices and gentle hands.

They may be small, but they’ve already filled the house with so much warmth.

Puppy parents - just 37 days until you meet your little ones for the first time. The countdown is on ♥️
