At Manny Park, we crate train all our puppies. Have a read and you’ll see why.

Why I think every dog should be crate trained…and why you should to!The most important reason is because an emergency may happen, your dog has surgery or gets sick! If they have to stay overnight in the vet they are crated, I don’t want my dog stressing overnight while sick. If you have to go to a relief centre due to a natural disaster they need to be crated, I want my dogs as relaxed as possible. If your dog has surgery and needs to be confined your dog needs to be crated!Other than the obvious reasons above it also Teaches valuable life skills:- It teaches a settle on cue! My dogs are able to switch off immediately and that’s largely due to crate training.- It teaches my dog to be happy in their own skin and not worry about where I am while I’m around the house.- It gives my dog a safe space to go to if there’s a heap of people over!- it gives me a great management strategy if my dogs are overwhelmed and need space! - It safe and prevents my dog from chewing or being destructive while I’m not supervising! This is more relevant when I have a puppy! - when my dogs travel to new places they have one constant, the crate which alleviates stress and allows them to settle into routine quickly! Does this mean that crates are a baby sitting device? Absolutely not, it’s important for a dog to have space to run daily and even chill out in your home, that’s a skill in itself! Crates can certainly be used inappropriately and some common sense needs to be used!

How great to catch up with two Manny Park Puppies in Gippsland Victoria. Miss Mabel was from Bella’s final toy poodle litter and My Gussy from Willows toy groodle litter. So great that they only live up the lane from each other and will be life long friends❤️

Sunday tunnel fun on a beautiful Sunday morning.

After going through our waitlist we only have two babies available from our miniature groodle litter. Green collar boy is the richest red and his little sister Miss Purple has got the cutest markings. These two are ridiculously cute. Home date late August. Contact Margy for more information.
