Teaching flip to heel

- lure past my left hand side and take a step back to help keep him moving
- step and bring him forward on to the box in line with my left leg
- I’m using the box here as a target for where he needs to stand, as well as helping to build some upward focus
- REPEAT! Luring take a lot of repetitions to build skill association
- over time I will add a verbal cue and fade off using movement
- I’ve also been doing this in combination with some read end awareness training (which I’ll show in another video in the future) to teach him to pivot on his back legs instead just following his front

⚠️Please remember to be mindful of those delicious (but dangerous) Easter treats like chocolate, hot cross buns, and anything with xylitol or raisins. These can be toxic to dogs, so be sure to keep them well out of reach.⚠️

🥚That said, a nice fresh chicken egg makes a fantastic (and dog safe) Easter treat 🍳
