Tofu and Chickpea are a gorgeous pair of 1.5 and 2.5 year old girls. They were adopted from us a year ago but unfortunately weren't getting enough attention and are back to find a forever home and family.

The girls have been in homes with gentle kids and dogs, and would be a great pair for first time or experienced piggy owners.

Tofu and chickpea come with a lot of their items and bedding from their previous home, which will help set up their new family with all their favourite things.

💔 Inner West Guinea Pigs is closing 💔

Unfortunately after 5 years rescuing and rehoming piggies it's time for us to shut our doors.

All piggies previously adopted from us have a LIFETIME surrender guarantee, this still applies - please do not rehome guinea pigs adopted from us elsewhere. Send us a message and we will get them back into our foster care network and adopted.

Going forward if we have piggies surrendered we will list them up on our socials (keep an eye out), otherwise get in touch with some of the other rescues in Sydney such as:

- Porsches Rescue
- Firefly Animal Rescue
- Cavy Central Guinea Pig Rescue
- RSPCA
- AWL

We will no longer be accepting any other surrenders/enquiries.

One of our fantastic foster carers offers a great piggy boarding service at Piggingham Palace

Beautiful baby girls STILL looking for a forever home!

Our gorgeous baby girls were born at the shelter from a surrendered mum on February 18th this year, and while we've had many expressions of interest and even two completely approved adoption applications (that ended up pulling out for different reasons), the girls are still in care and not with their forever family yet. 😭

The girls are sweet and friendly, and have been raised with gentle kids and lots of love. They're very fragile while this young so need a home with no kids under 10, but older kids and adults would be fantastic for them.

They've lived with their mum and an unrelated female for a few months and could be bonded with another female piggy or little herd looking for 2 more members.

It would be fantastic for them to get to grow up and bond with their forever home, and while they're very loved in care it's time they got to experience a home of their own.
