We have over 25 years experience in caring for our pets and others including horses, large and small dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, birds, reptiles and an aquarium of fish and axolotl. Our pets have always enjoyed a special place in our family, sharing in our family holidays and day to day life. We love taking our energetic fur friends for walks and to play fetch and frisbee in th
e yard or park, while an evening snuggling on the couch with our furbabies is our fav way to relax. Mae and I, along with our family, would love to open our home and offer our services to care for your beloved pet while you are away on holidays, working long hours or just pressed for time or the ability to meet the needs of your furever friend. Our place or yours
We are both licensed and have our own cars, making us available to commute, transport your pet or simply care for your pet in their comfortable and familiar home environment in the form of once or twice daily visits or an overnight stay. Our home has a 200 sqm+ enclosed yard with a large shaded area and colourbond fencing to keep your pet safe and secure. We also have a doggy door to allow your pet to access inside our single level home and the grassy outdoors at their will. Availability
We are available to walk and care for your pets between the hours of 6am and 10pm, as well as overnight stays. There will be an adult family member in the home to care for pets for the majority of any day, however pets may be left at home for up to 3 hours to run errands as required. If your pet needs constant supervision, please let us know and we can make arrangements to meet their needs. As a part-time educator and university student, we are also blessed with additional availability in the school holidays. What you and your pet can expect
A typical day for our pets includes morning play and feeding, daily walks and being included in our general day to day activities. Evenings typically involve more playtime, walks and feeding, followed by a relaxing light groom if required and a leisurely wind down routine. We also offer to send you regular photo updates via text to give you peace of mind that your pet is content and cared for in your absence. Home visits and house-sitting services include spending time engaging and playing with your pet, ensuring your pet has access to the toilet, cleaning up any mess made by your pet and tidying of small animal cages. We will also ensure your home is left secure, collect mail, put bins out for council collection and water plants during our visit/stay. Special conditions to ensure your pets wellbeing
For the health and wellbeing of your pets and ours, we are only able to care for fully vaccinated and neutered pets in our home. Please supply vet documents to validate the health status of your pet if requested. If your pet is not vaccinated or neutered, we can still care for your pet in their own home. We also kindly request that your pet is clean, treated for parasites and free of worms and fleas. Should your pet require medication or special care in your absence, we are able to administer this according to your instructions. Should you have any concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss how we can give you peace of mind that your pet is receiving the best care possible.
