From growing on our apple trees this morning…to dried and ready for forage mixes by this evening 😊 So funny how much dehydration can boost the yummy crunch factor!

Fun fact: Pip won’t touch fresh apple leaves (or apples)…but is OBSSESSED with dried leaves and apples 🍂🍎🤷‍♀️ My little crunch fiend hehe

All the apple tree products I use at N&K are harvested from our own organically grown Jonathon, Golden Delicious & Granny Smith trees 🌳 Never sprayed with anything 😊

What bun doesn’t love a Fairydust Ball…or dozen?! 🌹🌼 Beautifully fragrant, irresistibly tasty and deliciously messy 😂 Sometimes an order is made up entirely of different flavours - like this one across the workbench this morning 🤩

Okay, so it’s only October and while it may seem a little soon to be wrapping up 2024, I’ve made the decision to pack up the workbench earlier than usual this year…and there are a few things I want to mention before I do. With all the advent calendar building going on, I foresee I will have very little time to post in the coming weeks 😂🎄Apologies to anyone that missed out on the calendar - I promise I will make a larger quantity next year!

It’s been another AMAZING year here at N&K and I would like to express a heartfelt thanks to each and every one of my amazing supporters, both new and seasoned 😄💗 You guys inspire me to continue to create and to keep this little dream of mine alive! I feel so honoured and humbled that you place your trust in my products everyday…and on repeat 🥰

With that said, quality will always remain to a high standard, but things will likely shift a little sideways next year, due to factors beyond my control. A large section of my products rely on the lovely treats supplied by Jessy and most of you will now be aware that these treats will not be available for most of next year…this of course, means I will no longer be able to stock them either 😔 So…there will be changes. And during the Christmas break I will be considering what exactly those changes will be. I already have lots of ideas floating in my head right now, and will be sure to keep you all updated here! ✨

Now for the important dates:
⭐️ Accepting last orders for 2024 until 15th November.
⭐️ All orders will be completed in their usual timely fashion before the shop closes up completely.
⭐️ Workbench will reopen 30th January.
⭐️ Website will remain open to accept orders, but any orders placed between 16th November - 29th January will not be processed until 30th January onwards…unless I find myself with a bit of free time 😂
⭐️ Etsy shop will be placed into holiday mode 16th November - 29th January and will not be accepting any orders.

Just a couple more days and I’ll be back to processing orders! 💗 Meanwhile, today I’ve been busy finalising the toys which will be included in my FIRST EVER Christmas Advent Calendar this year 🤩🎄🎁 (Way overdue, I know! 😂) I’m excited to let you all know that there will be 16 handmade toys (pictured), 2 forage mixes and 6 treats (from ) 💗 Suitable for both bunnies and guinea pigs!

Quantity will be strictly limited to 20 calendars only and pre-sale will open October 12, to be sent out mid-November 🎉

Pip is such an efficient little unit when it comes to parking his wee self. Normally he will ALWAYS loaf facing away from the fireplace (ie. towards the camera), right in the middle of his bed, unworried by any surprise visitors….but as soon as a ‘wall’ is placed beside his bed, he backs right up to it 😄 I like to pretend he’s watching me work across the room, but nope 😂

It’s time for a little bit of ‘Spring Cleaning’ here at N&K HQ! 🌸 I’ve been so overwhelmed by all your wonderfully big orders lately, that it’s all I can do to stay on top of things! 😄💗 And rather than push out processing times, I’ve decided to close up shop for a couple of weeks, to reset and reorganise - especially with the festive season so quickly approaching! 🫣🎄

What this means:
🟡 the website will still be taking orders but all orders placed from Sun 22nd Sept - Sun 6th Oct will be processed from Mon 7th Oct onwards.
🟣 the Etsy shop will be on holidays and not taking any orders.
🟠 All orders placed before Sun 22nd Sept will be processed and sent out as soon as possible, regardless of the shop closure.
🟢 Wholesale orders will not be affected.

I look forward to returning refreshed and ready to take pre-orders for the Christmas advent calendar packs! 💝(Thank you for all the interest!!)
