Yes, you read that correctly!! 🎉

This N&K account has always been 2/3 bunny content and only 1/3 business posts…but with the loss of my sweet bunnies, things have had to shift abruptly, unfortunately 😔 Now I find myself really missing the bunny content and I definitely still crave this balance.

Soooo this is where you and all your gorgeous buns & piggies come in! Please, please help a girl out 💕 It’s super easy, and something so many of you are doing already! (Thank you!!)

❄️ Snowflakes! ❄️ The feedback for these tasty little hay-based treats has been super positive 💗 and the packs they feature in have proven really popular…so I’ve decided to go ahead and stock them on their own in packs of 10 also! 😊 Available from Thursday 26th.

N&K remains primarily dedicated to the creation of healthy and unique edible toys, but (when time allows) I’m now making these cute treats in small batches - and loving it! 😄

Save the date! The Rabbit Sanctuary’s Adoption Day in Sydney’s Hills District is almost here! 💕 Come along to Kellyville Pets this Sunday (15th) 9am - 3pm and be part of the fun…there’ll be a fundraising bake sale and plenty of bunnies to meet, as well as volunteers to chat with. Plus, of course, the opportunity to foster or adopt a new friend (on the day, with pre-approval)! 🥰

I’m always excited to get behind bunny rescue awareness days like these - and this one is actually so close to Nibbles & Knots HQ! Therefore, I’ll be popping in early to donate some of these sample boxes of toys & treats, to accompany adopted buns to their new forever homes and help them settle in 💗 I also look forward to meeting some of you!

As we all know, the second half of the year always flies by twice as quickly as the first half (!!!), so here’s a couple of dates to be aware of and pop into your schedule, so you can plan ahead:

⭐️ While the website will continue to operate, the processing of regular orders will finish up this year on 19th September - the exception to this is Christmas Advent Calendar pre-sale orders.

⭐️ Christmas Advent Calendar pre-sale will open 1 Oct - 31 Oct, with delivery staggered throughout November and received before 1st Dec…ready to countdown!

It may seem early to be closing up for the year, but we’ll be taking a family holiday for a couple of weeks and then it will straight into planning and prepping everything for the calendars…I swear the months get shorter! 😅

Hi 👋 Apologies for not being around much lately…I think you all know and understand why 💔 I have been keeping myself super busy though…purpose and focus are what helps me heal. As a result, I have a bunch of new products to share with you. Please scroll through to take a peek 👀➡️

The Winter-themed ❄️ mixed packs - some of you have already discovered and snapped up (thank you!), and I’ve finally just been able to restock this morning. These packs contain our own NEW N&K hay-based treats and so far the feedback has been so positive, with plenty of comments about them being stolen and munched up instantly…love that! 😍 Since we can only make in small batches, they can disappear quite quickly…but only temporarily.

Lots of sample packs of other flavours have also been going out, so I would love to hear your thoughts on those as well! 💗 There are plans for a couple of flavours to become available on their own (in small bags) also. N&K will always be primarily about the toys, and supporting other small businesses specialising in treats, but it made sense to create a few treats of our own to compliment our packs too 😊

Our beautiful Pippin has returned home to us now, and I want to take a moment ro express my deepest gratitude for all the amazing support, sympathy, messages, sharing of memories and virtual hugs I have received since the loss of our sweet boy 💗

It comforts me to believe he and Mika are reunited now, and I thought I would share a few of my favourite snaps of them together. Actually, most of their photos are together…they truly were inseparable. But Pip showed us just how strong, resilient and independent he could be, as well as maintaining his patient, caring and gentle personality.

My bunnies changed my life in such a wonderful way. My calm, steadfast little buddy, and my sassy, headstrong little princess…forever in my heart 🫶

🐰Pippin 15.4.2018 ~ 9.5.2025 ❤️🌈

It is with blinding sadness that I need to let you all know that our beautiful Pip passed away Friday evening…peacefully in my arms and surrounded by more love than a bunny could ever wish for 😢💔 Our family is beyond devastated. For such a tiny bunny, Pippin was a hugely important part of our family. I think you all know just how truly special he was to me personally and an eternal source of strength, resilience and comfort, particularly when we lost his sister, Mika, last year.

Our lives can never be the same.

I sit here now in Pip’s favourite place on the usually sun-filled deck, but it’s misty this morning and it seems appropriate. It’s a time to reflect and remember.

I want to share something with you. This last year was an especially important one for Pippin. While he was utterly devoted to his sister Mika, with her passing, we soon realised that her larger-than-life personality had kept Pip’s in her shadow. Their bond had been unshakable from day 1, and it broke our hearts to see him alone so suddenly. Without her influence though and with his feelings of responsibility for her lifted, Pip’s confidence actually grew so much, and we got to see his personality positively shine. It has been my absolute pleasure sharing Pip with you all and feel lucky knowing he will be missed by more than just his devoted family.

I’m not going to lie, getting on with work is going to be hard. So hard. But I know it is because of my bunnies that N&K even exists, and I am determined to make it their legacy…to keep bringing enrichment to the lives of other small animals. Two tiny bunnies have brought purpose, inspiration and meaning to my life in a way I can’t explain, and I will love and miss them always.
