This week we made a special visit to see our friend Buddy, the Balgowlah Heights Public School therapy dog. We have been looking after Buddy since he was a puppy 🐶 and he is the cutest boy. We sent him a little Christmas goodie bag to enjoy over his well-deserved Christmas break.

Maggie is one seriously precious dog. She contracted Leptospirosis and was very, very ill. She spent 2.5 weeks in hospital here at The Beaches Vet and was successfully treated. As of last week Maggie was well enough to be discharged for ongoing treatment at home with her dedicated, loving family. Maggie is very lucky, most dogs die from this condition despite aggressive supportive treatment. We are very proud of our team and all of their efforts to save this beautiful dog. We do not know exactly where Maggie contracted Leptospirosis, the university are currently investigating her case.
