Like many dogs we work with, Toby came to us as as his final hope of rehabilitating his behaviour as it had gotten so out of hand not even veterinary specialists were able to see hope.
Trainer Paige has done an exceptional job working with Toby and huge acknowledgment goes to his owners for their dedication to Toby's training
We help dogs with behavioural issues like toby every Day.
No matter how big or small, old or young or how severe their issues are, We are here to help!
Training should involve YOU as an owner learning how to handle your dog confidently and how to grow as a team and build a stronger bond.
Here at AW&B, we train YOU as the owner so you have life long skills to train your dog and ensure they are thriving in every way possible! We want to set you and your dog up to have the best relationship built on trust, good communication, fun and understanding.

Happy Wednesday from our Doggy Daycare crew! πͺ
So you have been trying your hardest to get your loose lead walking under control BUT without constant guidance your dog will still pull any chance they can get? Here are a few reasons whyπ€:(These apply to when your dog is out of the learning phase)1οΈβ£ You have a lack of clarity in your training including inconsistency with marker words and direction. You sometimes let your dog get away with things, and sometimes youβre strict. Sometimes often doesnβt cut it for strong willed dogs!2οΈβ£ You are not providing your dog with enough outlets to burn energy and be biologically fulfilled so they are overstimulated on their walks. Try every second day giving your dog a βfreeβ walk/run off lead or on their harness in a quiet location, while on other days stick to short and simple walking sessions3οΈβ£ You may be focusing too much on the bad and not enough on the good. It is easy to get angry at the mistakes our dogs make KNOWING they know what they damn well should be doing! If your dog struggles with their leash skills, ensure you are celebrating the little wins so they feel successful and motivated to keep listening and encouraging that good behaviour! While it is not important for your dog to walk in a heel, having a loose lead walking has many benefits πͺ If your dog is still pulling on the lead after months of training, send us a message so we can help you out!ππΌππ ππ πππΌππ ππππ ππ?π Fill out the application form in our bio π© Send us an email to [email protected]#dogtraining #dogsofinstagram #dogtrainer #puppytraining #puppiesofinstagram #dogtrainingtips #obediencetraining #dogtrainersydney #sydneydogtrainer #sydney #sydneydogtraining #dogtrainingsydney #reactivity #reactivitytraining #reactivedog #dogtrainersofinstagram #dogtraining

Here is one for the dogs that LOVE toys and arenβt so motivated by food πΎπΎ
Finding what motivates your dog is an important element to successfully training your dogπ
You CAN use toys to train your dog - food is not the be all and end all.
If your dog is too crazy around toys - this is also a good chance to work on some impulse control and start small.
NOTE: there are many different ways we use toys in training, this is just an example of ONE πΆ
In my training with Hugo i switch between the ball, treats, and also use nothing (he is past the learning phase).
This session may have just looked like a play in the park - but I actually set a CLEAR INTENTION to work on Hugoβs listening skills with the ball present as sometimes he gets way too excited! We cycled through his most basic commands to ensure I wasnβt setting him up to fail or push him past a level he isnβt ready for too soon.
πLET US KNOW IN THE COMMENTS BELOW WHAT MOTIVATES YOUR DOG? π
