This week, we're excited to shine the spotlight on Scully, the toy poodle who has shown fantastic progress in her grooming sessions. Initially nervous and wriggly, Scully now sits gracefully on the grooming table, showing her ability to adapt and trust.

Hey everyone! Just a note that we're no longer offering cat grooming services, aside from our existing much-loved regulars. We're adjusting our focus to ensure we're giving our best to our furry friends.

Did you know we offer hand stripping?

Hand stripping is the correct grooming procedure for many breeds such as cocker spaniels, wire fox terriers, griffon bruxellois (pictured) and many more.

When done correctly, hand stripping maintains a vibrant coat colour and correct coat texture. It can even prevent skin problems from popping up, as can happen when some dogs are repeatedly clipped.

If you're interested in hand stripping, don't forget to mention it when you book your appointment so we can discuss viability and what's involved.

Hi Pet Parents!

We are often asked which brush we use and whether we can recommend one for home use.

Well, here it is! We use and love this Artero Soft Slicker. It's very effective at breaking up tangles while ensuring you don't scratch your pet's skin.

As always, we highly recommend combing after brushing to ensure you haven't missed any spots. A comb will catch where a brush won't.

We now have this slicker and a variety of combs available in store.

A friendly reminder 🐶

Doggy jackets help keep our pets warm in winter, but they quickly cause matting underneath if not removed daily for a thorough brush and comb out.

Alternatively, you can opt for a shorter body length to prevent matting if your pet will be wearing a coat.
