From the 3 shows entered we were very happy with 3 x Best of Breeds in a great entry and topped it off with Best in Group 🏆

What a dream day at the prestigious MELBOURNE ROYAL SHOW 2024. A day filled with so much emotion ❤️ ❤️

Ch Piccino Vaga Bond strutted his stuff with Jacqui Weekes to win:

🔥🔥BEST IN GROUP 1st🔥🔥

And then went on to win

🔥🔥BEST IN SHOW 4th🔥🔥

Under Toy Specialist Ms Sylvie Desserne from France.

Piccino Wred Wred Wine also made the Final cut of 4 for Best Puppy in the Toy Group 🏆

Well done to Ingrid Matschke and her team for working tirelessly to capture these special memories 🥰

You were amazing when you took 1st Place in the Junior Handlers heat on Thursday🎉🌟

Your hard work, dedication, and love for the dogs is second to none and we couldn’t be prouder.

Ch Piccino Macaroni was an absolute star in the ring with you and you make a great team 🏆🐾

What a day to make a breeder burst with pride ❤️

The years and years of dedication and careful planning are certainly worthwhile on magical days like this 🥰

Ch Piccino Vaga Bond wins BEST OF BREED Italian Greyhound at the prestigious MELBOURNE ROYAL SHOW (one of the biggest shows in the southern hemisphere) in one of the largest entries of Italian Greyhounds in years ! Handled to perfection by Jacqui Weekes

The youngsters did us proud too winning the other major awards of the breed. Piccino Wred Wred Wine taking Puppy of Breed and Piccino Aston Martin Baby Puppy of Breed.

The dogs showed their socks off and claimed their rightful place on the pegs.

Ch Piccino Vaga Bond followed up his great win in the morning with a BEST IN SHOW at The Italian Greyhound Specialty Show in the afternoon.

Ch Piccino Macaroni beautifully handled by Natalie Robbins won the Bitch Challenge and went on to win RUNNER UP BEST IN SHOW behind her kennel mate. Piccino Wred Wred Wine was also BABY PUPPY IN SHOW.

Again our team outdid themselves on the pegs.

Congratulations to all the other winners.

Supreme Ch Piccino You Only Live Twice (Bond) taking BEST IN SHOW under Toy Specialist Jenny Whitney at Novacastrian Ladies Canine Association is truly a remarkable achievement.

And Piccino Winston Churchill (Winston) being awarded RU Best of Breed and Puppy in Group is showing such promise at such a young age. What a shining star 🌟

Bond being current #1 Italian Greyhound in Australia is an incredible feat 🏆

Last weekend was certainly one to remember winning 3 BEST IN GROUPS in one day at 3 different shows with 3 different dogs ❤️

At North of the Harbour in Sydney Ch Piccino Macaroni was awarded BEST IN GROUP under Toy Specialist Ben Luxton (SA) and Ch Piccino Catherine The Great was awarded Aust Bred in Group 🏆

Ch Piccino Vaga Bond had a great weekend in Melbourne where he was awarded BEST IN GROUP & INTERMEDIATE IN SHOW 🏆 and his gorgeous daughter - Piccino Wred Wred Wine (Merlot) was awarded BABY PUPPY IN GROUP ❤️
Thank you to Sighthound specialist Tony Kyman (Vic) and Hound Specialist Judy Oliver ( Vic ) for GS. Well done Jacqui Weekes❤️

Team Perth had a great weekend as well with Piccino One For The Road taking BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW with Jeni Sach

And Piccino Beau our King Charles Cavalier Spaniel owned, loved and handled by Rebecca Daniel went BEST IN GROUP at Rylestone, NSW and then backed that up the next day with another BEST IN GROUP. Huge congratulations 🥳
