With the heaviest of hearts, we are letting everyone know that our beloved Albie went over the rainbow bridge earlier today. Albie was diagnosed with a slipped disc, hip dysplasia and various other serious health concerns - with very little quality of life left. He was such a champion until the end, putting on a brave face everyday and still tried to be his goofy self. We are so grateful for the time we got to spend with him. Forever chasing balls and water sprinklers. Your little sister Sheba and your big brother Whiskey miss you already Albibi. 🐾 Rest easy now big boy. 💔

Our Hunter turned 1️⃣ today! 🥳🐾🎂 Happy Birthday to the bounciest bundle of joy that storms every week into our daycare 🤩 You have been such a good student and your pawrents are very proud of you! Many thanks to Deborah and Stuart for providing all these beautiful treats today, including pupcakes, which were very well received by all the participants 🐾♥️

From a stray puppy found on the side of the road in 40 degrees heat with mommy and 8 siblings in the Western Australian outback. 🇦🇺 To the lush tropical Northern Territory (with a detour to Uluṟu). 🦘Hitching a flight as precious cargo to Sydney. ✈️ It’s Whiskey‘s birthday today 🥳 - 11 years of adventures, places, friends, tough times (aka doubled fractured leg) and so much love. ♥️ Now, being the poster-paw of Shake & Wag. Let’s be honest, there probably wouldn’t be Shake & Wag if it hadn’t been for Whiskey. His whiskey-coloured fur has turned grey in some spots but his spirit will always be that of the little puppy that was obsessed with squeaky oinker toys and oversized bones. To many more years of cuddles, walkies and afternoon naps. We 💕 you Bubu!

Meet our newest team member Chloe. She has joined the Shake & Wag team for weekly daycare, walking and showing our four-legged clients the ropes - or hoops apparently. 😆 As well as our newest agility champion Rusty! Such a good boy 🐶 We have added agility to our regular daycare/boarding activities and it’s a winner! 🏆

Happy Barkday Arjun! 🌟 You are our S&W baby - not quite a baby anymore 😉 - but nonetheless forever cute. We hope you enjoyed your birthday with your four-legged and two-legged friends. 💜

This is what Shaz does pretty much all day, every day. 😂 Just kidding…he goes for walks sometimes too.

Google has a personal groomer. He pays a flat rate in patience 😂

Changing lives on a daily basis. That is what makes us happy: Turning less happy dogs into very happy ones! That is all what counts, right? 💜

Mia update from last week 😍

This week we introduced a new kid on the block. Mia has come to us with her own many challenges: Aggression towards other dogs due to dog bite trauma. Reactive aggression. Insecurities and lack of confidence. Highly unsure in unfamiliar settings. We had to cancel our day care visitors for a few days because we wanted to give her a chance. A chance to get to know everyone. To get to know our routines. A chance to live a happy life without being considered a difficult dog. You go Mia! Watch this space 😎

Honest and realistic snapshot of day-to-day Shake & Wag operations: Hyperactive dogs, reactive dogs, needy dogs, sleepy dogs, runnings dogs, growling dogs, shy dogs, house cleaning, 💩 collecting, head to toe doggy slop, chewed shoes and socks, drop offs and pick ups, walks and cuddles. It’s not always flowers and sunshine but we love them all and wouldn’t want to have it any other way 💙 🐶♥️
