Massive thank you for all your support this year. It has been quite a year.

We Are Hiring!
Attention dog lovers. We are searching for a new team member for our busy salon!
Due to continued growth, we are looking for somebody with a passion for all things “dog” who is keen to join our team.
Emma Scissorhands Pet Styling is an established grooming salon with a great reputation and experienced staff. We strive to provide high quality services and the upmost care to all the fur-babies in our care.
What we offer:

About the role:
· Styling/Breed Specific Cuts
· De-shedding
· Working with amazing client base
· Answering calls and enquiries, setting appointments
About you:
· Ideally 1+ years of grooming experience (but open to applicants with less experience)
· Able to groom independently (wash, de-shed, clip/style)
· Confident in handling all sizes/breeds of dog
· Good communication skills
Job type: Casual – leading to full time/permanent
Salary: Dependent upon experience
Schedule:
· Weekdays
· Potential for Saturday work as well (if you want)

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all staying well.

As many of you know, I had an injury and crushed a tendon in my hand a while ago. I had continued to groom all your pooches since the injury in
January, but it was not getting better on its own and was quite painful. I had surgery to fix this a few weeks ago and when the surgeon got in there he found a second site that he had to fix that as well. Which has meant that recovery is going to be a bit longer (an extra 2 weeks or so) than I originally had planned. I am recovering steadily and gaining movement back in my hand each day but still not allowed to pick up the clippers or scissors.

We have been doing our best to work around my hand in the meantime as we know your puppies still need to be groomed. My Mum has been holding down the fort continuing to provide washes, blow dries and brush outs to prevent puppies from getting matted. She has also been working with me and learning to groom for the last 12 months and so we will be providing ‘student’ grooms until I can use my hand again. These will be discounted grooms to keep your puppies maintained and Mum will be providing these whilst I am supervising.
