It’s finally time to announce the arrival of my Spain on Show Litter.

We are so proud of Holly (Adrahil On Hollywood Boulevard) for producing 3 stunning little Sushi (Ch. Vittorioso Hugo Boss) babies.

Paella 🥘 Born at 139g
Churro 🍢 Born at 164g
Salsa 💃 Born at 183g

This is our final Chihuahua litter for 2025.

Squeak (Whatshades Don’t Cry Wolf) is the first Potato son we have retained and we are so happy we did. We were extremely hesitant to keep another boy but when he was born I instantly fell inlove. He was a mini husky, he was so tiny, a little screamer, who struggled to latch for the first 24 hours but yet he beat all odds and grew into the stunning little man he is now.

He entered his first shows at exactly 3 months of age during the Condo Circuit and he certainly did not disappoint.
He not only won many of his Baby classes and Baby of Breed classes against lovely competition he absolutely smashed it in Baby Sweepstakes against all breeds aged 3-6 months

His Condo Circuit wins at 3 months of age included;
🥇 in 3-6 Sweepstakes against 13 other dogs
🥈 in 3-6 Sweepstakes Condo against 14 other dogs
🥉 in 3-6 Sweepstakes Condo against 10 other dogs

At 4.5 months of age in West Wyalong he won 🏆 Best Baby Puppy in Group 🏆 against 4 other baby toys and a
🥈 in 3-6 Sweepstakes against 11 other all breed baby puppy dogs.

At 5 months of age in Berrima he received
🥉 in 3-6 Sweepstakes against 12 other all breed baby puppy dogs.

And during his final show in Baby Puppy at 5.5 months of age at Hillsborough he won
🏆 Best Baby Puppy in Group 🏆 against 3 other baby toys and
2x 🥉 places in in 3-6 Sweepstakes against 8 and 6 other all breed baby puppy dogs.

What a lovely way to finish his Baby Puppy career! 🥳

He then attended his first Minor Class (6-9 months) at the Canberra International Show last weekend and was Reserve Challenge and Runner Up Best of Breed against beautiful seasoned older dogs including Sushi and Sparkles.

We are just so happy with him and the quality Potato has produced with his mother Forty. He has exceeded our expectations and we are so grateful to be able to have produced him and his siblings.

We have no doubt in our minds that this boy will continue his success and be an Australian Champion in the near future. He has some lovely strong competition out there in the ring, including Sushi and we look forward to seeing how he matches up to them.

My semi retired little Grand Champion Sally stepped out in the show ring this weekend for the first time in 2 months and what a cracker of a girl she was at the Canberra International Shows, winning 4 Best of Breed and gaining her 4th A20 Certificate to now add the A20 Champion Title to her name.

Our little Squeak (Whatshades Don’t Cry Wolf) attended his first show in Minor this weekend. Competing against the big boys for challenge points toward his Australian Champion Title and he did not disappoint.

On Saturday at the Canberra International Show Under Judge Fanie Van Der Linde he won his Minor Class and went on to win Reserve Challenge against a some stunning seasoned boys including Sushi and topped it with Runner Up Best Of Breed against his half sister Sparkles.

This little man is just such a dude and I absolutely just love showing him.

Whatshades Ampika at Cheshire is Potato’s daughter who is owned, exhibited and loved by Dee from Kolorko Kennel.

This stunning little girl is a full sister to our Sparkles ✨ Ampika is the reason we did the repeat mating, and we are so happy with how both her and Sparkles have turned out.

Ampika entered the show ring for only two shows as a young puppy and then had a 1.5 year break due to her mammas prior commitments with her border collies. During this time she had her first litter producing a stunning long coat girl Minky.

Ampika returned to the show ring at 2 years old and has hit the ground running. In only a handful of shows over the last few months she has won a few Challenges, Reserve Challenges and R/up Best Of Breed against extremely strong dogs and we are just super proud of Dee and Ampika.

Ampika is now on 32 Points toward her 100 point Australian Champion Title and we are loving all the updates on her fabulous success in the ring.

Potato’s second Champion daughter Sparkles (Ch. Whatshades Diamonds Sparkle)

This sassy little firecracker has taught me so much. I’m glad she wasn’t my first show dog! I would have 💯 given up if she was.

It’s Sparkles way or no way! You don’t tell Sparkles and you kind of don’t ask her either.. it’s like you have to make it her idea! 🫣 The biggest rule is don’t let Chihuahuas boss you, you need to be their leader! You need to be in charge.
Sparkles however doesn’t conform to the Chihuahua way, we all tried! But we wouldn’t have it any other way as it’s that s***k she has in the show ring that gets her over the line!

She absolutely loves people, especially children, her favourite people are Dallas and Harley. She loves to snuggle all day and night with any human who shows her attention.

Sparkles received her first 100 points gaining her Australian Champion Title in just under 6 weeks of being in the Minor Class. She not only won challenges and Best of Breeds from 6 months old she also won and placed in 7x 6-12 month Sweepstakes as well as 4x Best Minor Puppy in Group awards, 3x Best Puppy in Group awards and 3x Best Junior in Group awards. Topping it off with a Best Junior in Show award.

She’s now 16 months old and over half way to her Grand Champion Title. To say we are proud is an understatement. We hope to achieve our second Grand Champion girl in the near future, this will be our first homebred Grand Champion and Potato’s first Grand Champion progeny.

We have very exciting plans to breed her once she’s obtained this next title.

Our Potato’s pet and non show but breeding progeny.

Not all puppies will become show dogs and not all potential show dogs will ever hit the show ring. Sometimes there is that perfect pet home for a potential show dogs and you have to make that hard decision to let a good one go as you just don’t have the time to show another puppy or have someone who wants to show. Sometimes some puppies don’t enjoy the show ring but make great foundation breeding dogs.

Pet families are my favorite families. They love their puppies unconditionally and they always send you so many amazing updates and the life their puppies are living is just out of this world. I get jealous of the wardrobe some of these puppies have.

Potato has produced some stunning pet puppies along the way and we are so happy at the quality and temperament he produces with every litter.
