Dried vegetables are a very good alternative to supplement and enrich your horse’s diet in a variety of ways that are also very healthy.
Beetroot are well known and popular in horse feeding, so they are a vegetable rich in vitamins and minerals. Important vitamins include the B group vitamins, niacin, folic acid and vitamin C. In addition to sodium, iron, magnesium and phosphorus, the “red beet” has a high calcium content in terms of minerals. Beetroot can have vitalising, health-promoting and health-preserving effects and is a very good supplier of natural trace elements. It contains copper, iron, folic acid, chromium, manganese, zinc and selenium, as well as vitamin B12. Folic acid and iron are of central importance in blood formation. Folic acid in particular is important for the formation and regeneration of cells. It helps the skin to build up a protective barrier and supports the body’s own defences, which should be of particular interest to horses with an allergic problem.
Thanks to the gentle drying process, the ingredients are perfectly preserved. Of course, we do not use genetic engineering, artificial flavours, colours or preservatives here either.
