Hi here with some devastating news
I have just lost my sole mate Indy black and white cattle dog for those that know her.
Who I set this up for as we moved from up past Newcastle to Sydney when we started out as couldn't find good quality meat that was cheap like we had up their.
We have tried our best to hold this together and supply to our wonderful small amount of people.
We have tried to keep the prices down as much as possibly as we know how expensive it is to feed good quality meat to our pets.
After loosing Indy last Friday due to a medical problem I have lost the fight in me to keep this going, especially when I am doing it all my self collecting the orders putting them through, going collecting the meat from various places and then bagging it down and having the correct food for the orders then going and dealing with the deliveries has taken its toll on me.
I am happy to do 1 last run if people want to order from me to say good bye which will be hard for my regular people as you rely on me to keep your pets fed and I'm sorry for this.
I have also put together a page for house sitting or drop in feeds for your pets if you want to have a look as this is a lot less stressful on me if you are planning on going away.

Feb will have price changes happening on most of the products due to prices going up again sorry we do try and keep our prices as low as possible.

Does anyone need meat this week or can wait I know I have already checked with a few of you as this was suppose to be for the week of the 14th November not the week of the 8th

This will be a bit over a month due to Christmas I hope to have enough space for people if they are needing me to store the meat longer however as I need to bag it all down into 1kg lots it will accure a fee of $10 per order if you can take the whole 5 weeks worth then let me know as well. This will be the last order till 11th January 2023.

Ok as we have Christmas coming up in just over a mth and most places close for the holidays I am looking at closing from the week of the 7th December till the 30th January
With 1 lot of orders being delivered and the next month's of orders being held with pick up or delivery between the 10th - 12th January can anyone let me know if they think this will work for them it will include a $10 fee per order as I will be Bagging it all down to 1kg lots and $15 if you want it in smaller portions then this.
All payments will be needed up front for this to be able to take place. If you have room to store your 2mths worth then I can deliver this in 2 different lots to you as well as can sell boxes of the ikea bags so you can bag your order down yourself.

This week Delivery Wednesday or Thursday

November 13th all orders are due delivery that week Wednesday or Thursday

December 4th orders due note changes 2mths worth of orders if you can do this all money up front as this will be our last order for the year.
Happy to store the extra meat $10 fee will be included in this as I need to be bagged down into 1kg lots to fit everyone's orders in as we have Christmas and want some time off let me know your thoughts on this please

Ok Orders are due this Sunday with delivery within the week please leave out cold bags for your order I will let you know the morning of delivery. Unless I can get help no bagging down of big quantities as it takes longer to do sorry happy to sell boxes of ikea zip lock bags with your order so you can do it yourself as they are the ones we use. Hi update have been doing some talking to a friend who is willing to help on a monthly basis only.
So we are going to see how this goes till December.
So the orders for the 17th October will be going ahead.
We have had a lot of Family problems going on and have tried to struggle through but the stress has taken its toll on me.
So this time I have unfortunately had to make the decision that I will have to close the shop. thank you for everyone who has ordered through us over the past 2 years and supporting us during covid.
I am really sorry for this inconvenience caused and I hope you are able to find other raw stores in your local areas.
If anyone needs help in finding somewhere to go let me know and I am willing to tell you a few places that I have found over the years and some do deliver to different areas.
Sorry we might be back but not sure when.

DIY Homemade Breath Mints

Loving your greyhound doesn’t mean you need to put up with bad breath!

Good breath bikkies

Ingredients:
• 1 cup rolled oats
• 1 ½ cups whole wheat flour
• ½ cup maple syrup
• 2 tbsp sunflower oil
• 1 egg
• 3 tbsp chopped mint
• 3 tbsp chopped parsley

Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180º and line two trays with baking paper
2. Blend oats for 30 seconds (to be rougher than the consistency of flour)
3. In a separate bowl, combine oats, flour, maple syrup, sunflower oil, egg, parsley and mint and mix until dough consistency
4. Roll dough out to 50mm thickness and use a 2.5cm cookie cutter.
5. Place rounds onto trays and bake for 20-25 mins
6. Store biscuits in an airtight container (after cooling)

NOTE: Limit treats to 1/ day as dogs can only consume small amounts of mint and parsley.

Cheesy Mint Biscuits
It's an odd mix but we guarantee your dog will love them!

Ingredients:
• 2 cups whole wheat flour
• ½ cup shredded tasty cheese
• 2 tbsp dried mint
• 1 1/3 cups of water
• ¼ cup sunflower oil
• 1 egg

Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180º
2. Line baking tray with baking paper
3. Combine all dry ingredients into a bowl
4. Add water, oil and egg
5. Mix until it forms a dough consistency (add water if it feels too stiff)
6. Roll dough out to approx. 1cm thickness
7. Cut with cookie cutter
8. Bake for 1-1.5 hours

Frozen Minty Yoghurt Pops
Dogs LOVE cold treat on a hot day

Ingredients:
• 1 cup plain Greek yoghurt
• 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
• ¼ cup mint
• ¼ cup parsley
• ¼ cup coconut oil
• ½ cup grated green apple

Method:
1 Place yoghurt, mint, parsley, coconut oil and apple cider vinegar into the blender and blend to smooth consistency
2 Add grated green apple
3 Pour mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight
4 Store in the freezer.
