Hi Gardeners,

It is sunny morning after good rain during the week and our crops have grown well - herbs are especially abundant. The squash trombonccino have proved to be a great visual novelty, productive and delicious, baked to eat.

Hi Gardeners Summer crops thriving so there were many cucumbers to harvest. The failed zucchini crop was lifted, as were the remnant Kipfler potatoes before basil and beetroot seedlings were planted. Crops fertilised with Nutrisoil foliar spray. Unfortunately half of the chard crop was foraged by non member with scissors which has killed the plants. Our practice of only harvesting a few outside leaves at a time enables this crop to continue to grow for many to share.

The garden is looking so vibrant in the summer evenings! Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers 🙋‍♀️ 😀

Hi Gardeners

After a week of gentle rain and cooler days our Summer crops are lush and abundant. The insect life is also thriving!

Sadly six chard plants were scissored to the ground. These plants can continue to provide leaves for many months if only a few leaves are picked from each plant. 👨‍🌾

Hi Gardeners this morning we welcomed Lily and our group of twelve were very productive harvesting our first beans and cucumbers as well as lettuce and kale.

Unfortunately the stink bugs are still affecting the lime tree despite removing so many from the tree.

The mulberry and elderflower have been pollarded and now the sun can reach through coriander has been planted as an under storey. 👨‍🌾

Hi Gardeners
We were busy Saturday planting the first of the Summer crops- several different chilli varieties, climbing beans, Lebanese cucumbers and sunflowers were planted.
All the beds were fertilised with Nutrisoil and worm tea from our own worm farms.
Chard, Lettuce, Spinach, Snow Peas and lots of Sweet Peas were harvested. 👨‍🌾
