Tomorrow Bondi is going to reach 40 degrees!! 🌡️ are you ready to keep your pet cool?

☀️ONLY WALK THEM FIRST THING IN THE MORNING AND LAST THING AT NIGHT. If they don’t want to walk - don’t force them.

☀️MAKE SURE THEY HAVE A COOL SPOT TO LIE IN. Wood/tiles etc

☀️MAKE SURE THEY ALWAYS HAVE WATER!!

☀️KEEP A FAN/AIR CON ON FOR THEM

☀️COOLING COLLARS, MATS and SHALLOW PADDLING POOLS HELP KEEP THEM COOL

☀️WATCH THEM AROUND SWIMMING POOLS - NOT ALL ANIMALS CAN SWIM!

Top tip: if the ground is too hot for you to walk on, it is definitely too hot for your pets paws!!

Leave some water out for wildlife too please!!

Elizabeth started her nurse training at Bondi Vets in 2015. She’s seen our clients from their first puppy/kitten vaccines, to their goodbyes! From nursing, to Queen of client care she’s the friendly face that everyone knows.

Today was Elizabeth’s last day with us, before she embarks on her new Practice Manager role across the bridge. Whilst we will miss her lots, we are excited for her new adventure. Good luck and all our love 🩵 your BVH family.
