Anyone have room to foster these guys?

If not for 3 weeks, temporarily until we can find a foster.

Update - still need carer, these two are on their own, locked in, fed daily only.

Foster carer needed for Peppa and Nala. Currently at Riverwood, possibly 3 weeks care.

Good Afternoon,
I have 2 pet's: a 6 year old rescued dog (Peppa who is a pointer cross) and her 10 month old kitten companion Nala (another rescue whom is a shorthaired cat) whom require urgent rescue.

I was admitted into hospital unexpectedly last night around 8pm.

Both beauties ate their dinners and there is plenty of water in the interim.

I'm not sure when I'll be discharged; so I want my animals to be safe and together.

They're in my house by themselves and a friend can meet up with you at my house at Riverwood to let you in if you can help me?

Are you able to provide me with urgent assistance as I love and cherish my pet's and their welfare concerns me deeply.

Nala was supposed to have her stitches out today, after being desexed. She is wearing her special collar to protect her wound.

Pawsandrecover would like to keep together but will consider separate fosters if no other choice. Please email [email protected] with Peppa and Nala in subject line if you are able to foster and give the owner peace of mind.

Poor Teddy and Missy have returned. The poor things needed more time to adjust.

They’re desexed, vaccinated and microchipped etc.

Evening guys,

We brought in this little mum with 4 kittens and the kittens have gone to new homes/fosters but mum will be a lot trickier since she needs a lot of patience.

The video kind of sums her up in that part of her is the sweetest little mumma you will find and the other half is a scared little kitty that’s never had a family. She is severely under sized due to being malnourished prior to us taking her in and may not grow much more.

Her name is Stella because she did a Stella job looking after her babies. I normally call her mummy though.

She calls out to me with a quiet meow when she wants some attention. How cute is that 😻

She now needs a miracle in return.

She will need to be an inside only cat and will require a lot of patience for her to come out of
her shell around new people. I wouldn’t recommend a home with young children or young dogs though she loves all other cats. Young children and dogs will likely scare her that’s all.

Mum Stella and her 4 babies are slowly adapting to life with a family. Stella is taking a bit longer to trust humans but is coming along nicely.

In a kennel for over 5 long years. Anyone got space in their lives?

These two beautiful natured dogs are looking for an URGENT foster home together. Jasmine is a short haired Welsh Collie and Max is a male Jack Russell terrier. They are a bonded pair. Sadly they have been living in a kennels for over 5 long years and they are both now 12 years old and they desperately need to feel the love and attention of a loving family. They are very bonded to each other but we do not know how they are with other dogs so we are looking for a home without other animals.

Just need to get something off my chest....

I love dogs, I do, and I'm lucky enough to have made a career out of working with dogs. The recent increase in dog numbers means there are more people than ever enjoying the company of dogs, but also more dogs than ever are out and about in public places. Some of the behaviour I am witnessing by some dog owners is driving me more than a little crazy.

PLEASE PUT YOUR DOG ON A LEAD. Why has this become so difficult?
This includes cafes, walking on the footpath and at parks that are not designated off-leash. It is for your dog's safety, as well as the safety of other dogs and people. It has become impossible for me to walk around my local area without meeting at least 3 off-leash dogs each time, and cafes seem to attract off-leash dogs.
I don't understand it - your dog may be friendly, but how do you know how the dog they run up to will react? And why is it OK for your dog to be annoying to others? I've witnessed some dangerous things with fights, knocked-down tables, terrified kids and boiling coffee going all directions.

YOUR DOG DOESN'T HAVE TO “SAY HELLO" What if the other dog (or owner) doesn't want to "say hello" back?
"My dog just wants to say hello" is usually the excuse people give when their dog has no recall, but why would you let your dog jump in the face of a dog on a lead that you don't know? It can go pear-shaped VERY quickly, and I have witnessed some dreadful dog fights as a result of this. Please work on your recall or don't let them off the lead. I just want to walk Chilli in peace.

Finally, about the current POODEMIC - yes, dog poo is unpleasant, but you need to pick it up!
If your dog does a poo on a footpath at night, it might be a shock to learn that you still need to pick it up, even if there were no witnesses! I know it's hard to get your head around, but I'm getting sick of giant piles of poo on the footpath waiting in the morning!

Rant over, thanks for listening….. and of course, I know that most people do the right thing! xx
