Miss Tanuki was a rescue. When we got her, I was told she was approx. 4-5 years old, but later found out she was 9 and a half.. this broke my heart because it meant we had those years taken from us. Miss T (as she was known or NuNu) lived the remainder of her days being doted upon by her Dad who loved her more than anything. She went everywhere with us and never far from her Dad’s side. We lost her in 2021 at the age of 14 to renal failure. It broke her Dad’s heart so profoundly.

As rescuing dogs means a lot to me and I am donating 10% or $1.50 of every keyring sold to the Sydney Dogs and Cats home in 2024. Write a caption...

After a few months of sewing, I am almost ready to release PomPom Puppa’s first collection. 14th August 2023 AEST (Australia). This day has a lot of meaning for me. It would have been my Dad’s 96th birthday and I am hoping this day will be the beginning of something amazing.

A Little Luxe for Little Paws

I create shirts, dresses, bandanas, yukatas and kimonos for smaller dogs. Sizes range from XS to M. My creations are made in 100% quilting cotton as who does not like to have a breathable fabric against their body, I am sure our little paws would! I do not use Velcro, so no fur can get caught in the hooks. Fabric is purchased in limited quantities and some has even been gifted to create doggy couture. Each garment could be from a limited edition or even a OOAK (one of a kind).

I have three fur babies, Kaia, Miss Tanuki and Ritoru (Riri). None are willing to be models, but each one has a wardrobe with Kaia and Miss Tanuki sharing their wardrobe like true fur sisters.

Any purchase from Pom-Pom Puppa will have 10% of the value donated to Golden Oldies Animal Rescue. They have rescued animals that have been surrendered because they were old, their owners have passed on or have been rescued from puppy farms and even domestic violence situations. Miss Tanuki is a rescue. In 2020, she will turn 13. We have had her for two years and is very much the apple of her Daddy’s eye. Whilst Kaia is not a rescue, she will be 14 in 2020 and I am blessed that she is still with me. Ritoru was not quite a rescue, but it was obvious that the breeder wanted hime gone as he was born with micropthalmia (small or no eyeballs). Whilst he is not totally blind, he is visually impaired, but it has never stopped him from being a bratty black Pomeranian!
